These two young women are sisters and they spoke about their beginnings, challenges and struggles and how they overcame them in their profession. 

This episode of Study Hall With Eugene W. Grant interviews Marnitta King, Esquire owner of King Law, LLC. and Dr. Lataishia Jones, owner of Hey Dr. Tay, Inc. Each of these young women spoke about their beginnings, challenges and struggles and how they overcame them in business. Additionally, Dr. Jones shared about being recognized among other women with a statue erected in Dallas, Texas in her honor and also the first Black Ph.D in her program from her University. Ms. King, who also served as the mayor of her small town, spoke of her lived experiences as a trial attorney representing her clients in and outside of the courtroom.

In this episode, Eugene W. Grant had an engaging conversation with Ms. Shavon Dotson, who is founder of Dotson-King Consulting. Ms. Dotson talked about how she got started in her business and some of the challenges she faced. During the show she gave advice on how to get started stating, "Like Nike said, Just do it." She went on to share the importance to talk with people and reach out to get clients because, "Closed mouths don't get fed." Additionally, the Coronavirus presented numerous challenges to small business owners and Ms. Dotson gives her take on how she managed during the time of the pandemic and gave additional thoughts on the subject.
