Although I am well past this season in my life it made me laugh to remember how uncertain of a time it was and how getting asked that question was quite annoying. Podcast does a great job of investigating societal and human issues. Every time I listen I learn a new perspective and find myself intellectually challenged. Recommended for anyone looking to closely examine humanism and societal impact.

I came across S&S when I asked Twitter for new podcast recommendations and I was not disappointed. Kip and Caroline have very open and insightful conversations on some pretty interesting topics. My favorite thus far has been the "Purity Balls" episode highlighting the intersectional concerns of the restrictions of young girls and sexuality. Give them a listen, you won't be disappointed. As a side note, though they both have very "radio-friendly" voices, Kip's is pretty dreamy, ha'

In our current world filled with woefully inflamed discourse, Stride and Saunter encourages open conversations that look at all angles of a topic, no matter how small or large. This podcast's goal really speaks to people just trying to understand; no judgements, just conversation. Check it out.

I love listening to new pods; but I didn't know what I was in for with this one. What I got was a calm, soothing, and collected host in Kip. This guy could/should do audiobooks. 10 minutes in he already had me thinking differently about the way we can see the world. This is very thought-provoking pod, and I'm now a subscriber. If you want someone who challenges the way you think (and he does it without even trying) then this could be what you're looking for. I'm really impressed, and am excited to hear more!

I listened to the episode on improvisation - interview with a professional comedian - and how she approaches her art. How important listening is, how important observation is, and how important trust is. You need to pay attention, look at people, look at the environment. This show is refreshing to listen to after months of political debates in the media. I like how ideas and conflicts can openly exist as means for intelligent discussion rather than a catalyst for building walls.

I jumped in with an episode about Hillary Clinton and was impressed by the dialogue. Intelligent and well-informed. And the topics covered here are vast. Will definitely recommend this for anyone looking to find something beyond the mainstream simplistic conversations.

I stumbled upon Stride and Saunter by way of a Twitter suggestion. I like the open dialogue that leads the audience to draw their own conclusion. This podcast is a much needed departure from the already over saturated podcast format.

This is such an important podcast, taking issues that real people really deal with… ones that would usually feel difficult to navigate, heated, or hard to talk about… and taking them to a place of peaceful discourse so that we can talk, heal, and learn. WTG!

The "Islam & Liberal Democracy" (Episode 96) discussion is a must-listen. The guest provided first-hand experience of the Middle East's political structure and debunked myths of its religious influences (no, Islam is not the only religion in the region). I, myself, had a lightbulb moment when she simply stated "Not all Arabs are Muslim. Not all Muslims are Arab". Thanks to Kip for facilitating.

I rated this almost a year ago with 5 stars and I have since come back and want to rate it with 6. I heard the episode regarding the challenges to a friend and I love the concept. The podcast is very easy to listen to...great production quality...presence...and the content is very interesting.

Stride & Saunter is a truely different experence in every episode. Whether it is Kip or Caroline or Hector or even a guest, real discussions on real topics are thoughtfully explored. They have the conversations that are currently shaping our culture and society. They go beyond the surface.

So much discussion is segmented into simple black and white arguments, it's refreshing to hear a balanced opinion show. No "hot takes" here, just well-reasoned views backed by evidence. If you like to go deeper into claims, including and especially your own opinions, then this is the show for you.

This show concisely looks at one topic, I listened to the War on Milk and it got me thinking about the global lactose populations, something I have overlooked living in the US. Also had not thought about the way that marketing had impacted the sale of Fat Free and low fat milk. Something that seems so mundane is realyl fascinating. I have subscribed and can't wait to listen to the next topic that Kip and Caroline cover.

This podcast provides great insight and hits on many different topics, without creating any radical/crazy idea, but rather thoughts that get you to think deeply whether you agree or disagree with their views. I also like how they range from topics that are big in the news to ideas that reach every part of life.

This is a solid and relevant podcast that focuses on current event. Not only do the hosts make them interesting but they also do a good job of making them relevant to our daily lives.

Kip drew me in immediately! I love his voice and I love that he honors his guests by allowing them to express completely without unnecessary interruption. His feedback during interviews is intentional and intelligent which is incredibly refreshing. I am looking forward to listening to more episodes. Awesome!

This is an assuming-sounding podcast, but don't be misled: it's an important conversation between 2+ people about different topics, spoken about with intelligence and respect. Each topic is given exhaustive research and commentary that the listener will certainly be confronted with something they hadn't thought of before as the speakers try to comb out every possible side of an issue. This an an amazing podcast and I can't wait to hear more.

I loved the "Evolution of Barbie". Kip and Caroline have refreshing perspectives on the changes Mattel made. I enjoyed them engaging in both sides of the coin of the harm and good that can come of these changes. I definitely agree representation matters and Mattel has made a step in the right direction. This podcast is awesome! Two great host that encourage healthy dialogue in every topic. So happy I found this one!

Stride and Saunter is an ambitious project by Kip Clark and Caroline Borders to tackle pretty much everything they can - recently they've covered topics such as the stigma surrounding video games, women in comedy, what defines your family in terms of friendships and not necessarily blood relationships, careers after study, capitalism, racism and AI. Where the show is consistent is the honest and educated opinions of the two hosts; also the bring information regarding to the topics they cover that we may not have readily come across through popular media. Although the topics might be hit and miss with the individual, Stride and Saunter is a much needed show in that they are willing to tackle all topics rationally and honestly, to make us an informed society. That might sound profound for a podcast, but the bigger this show gets the better it gets, and it has an admirable power to educate and change the masses. I think this podcast could really be the start of something new and wonderful.

One of the best things about Stride and Saunter is that each week, you’ll find well-researched and considered content, but rarely will consecutive shows have much in common. The show is like taking the weekly pulse of an inquisitive mind. In that vein, it’s not preachy or explanatory, but discursive with its listener base; every show I’ve heard has at least one “reader response” as a conversation starter. A weekly pleasure.
