Streets and Scholars is a one of a kind podcast hosted by an ex-con who had been sentenced to over 15 years in prison in both the California Department of Corrections and the Federal BOP. He hails from Lynwood / Compton and represented the Cross Atlantic Piru gang, but now he is family man, husband, father and a podcast co-host. He is matched up with a co-host that grew up in the mean streets of Los Angeles, but managed to avoid prison, went on to graduate from the University of Southern California and became a professor.
