Love this show!๐Ÿ’•
I LOVE this show! Love Jason & love Dr. Kyla Story! I love when they bring LGBTQ+ guests on the show. Itโ€™s a very educational, sometimes relatable podcast show that deals with world news, pop culture, the intersection of black identity with queerness & feminism and so much more. My only note is that I hope Jason (one of the co-hosts) works on himself so that he doesnโ€™t interrupt nor rushes Dr.Story AND their guests. I know that time is limited for this show, itโ€™s just I hate when he rushes everyone to finish their sentences & interrupts them & their thought process. Love you, everyone!๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

such a great show!!
i am so so glad this beautiful show exists. they are doing some amazing work, and i love seeing the hosts raise up activists and conversations that aren't getting enough attention from a black queer perspective. i also truly loved the most recent episode (on bisexuality). the bisexual content i need, deeply feeding my soul. thank you all so much. keep doing what you're doin.

Love the show but..
Hey guys, New listeners and love the show but just a small critique. Do less talking over each others. Well this is more for you Jason then Kyla lol. Anyway, keep up the good work. Love and light, Atalldrynk

LOVE This Show!
You won't find two funnier, well informed, genuinely great hosts. Admittedly, my politics align with the show, but I would enjoy them even if that wasn't the case. Continue being great and representing for the black and LGBTQ community. Teddy D

Entertaining and informative!
I love learning from these hosts, their guests, and the topics they choose to discuss. It's hard to find a great podcast that uplifts and empowers the LGBTQ community, which is why I'm so happy to have stumbled upon Strange Fruit. Love it!

thoughts of home
a few days ago, i was at the park enjoying a beautiful day with my girls. listening to this podcast made it more so. i thought my feelings of contentment stemmed from the wonderful and nuanced conversations the hosts have with their amazing guests and between themselves. but as i was basking in the sunshine, i realized the hosts reminded me of the queer folks i knew as a child. one of the delicious delights of being a kid was if i was quiet enough, i knew i could listen in on grown folk talk when my mother had her friends over. to hear them talk about politics, gossip, and family lore unfiltered was such a treat. they were so unlike the strict churchfolks i knew, always quick to correct a child. whether it was on our front porch, at my godsister's or at a cookout, i always felt loved in that space. i don't have a whole lot of positive memories of childhood. listening to your podcast helped me uncover those glimmers of joy. thank you.
