Global rating agency Moody’s Investors Services and brokerage firm Barclays on Thursday lifted India's growth estimates, following a sharp recovery in the country during the ongoing festive season.

US pharma company Pfizer and German firm BioNTech have said that their coronavirus vaccine is over 90 percent effective in preventing COVID-19 in those who have not contracted the infection, CNBC.com reported. According to data published from Pfizer and German firm BioNTech's late-stage vaccine trial, the results were based on the first interim efficacy analysis conducted by an external and independent Data Monitoring Committee of the phase three clinical study.
