Another attempt is calling this government a government of tyranny by the NRA and right wing media.  As a result there has been a personal assault on the President with an AKA type assault weapon.  Someone shot several bullets that actually hit the White House with an AKA type assualt weapon.  Why? They thought Prez Obama was the anti-Christ. You must listen tonight.

Executive Orders are issued by the President and are legally binding directives that equates laws passed by Congress. Republicans have called President Obama a dictator for using his Executive power to create and change laws, a Constitutional authority given to Congress.  There exist today over 13,000 Executive Orders used by all 44 Presidents.  President Harry Truman integrated the Armed forces, President Eisenhower desegregated schools, Presidents Kennedy and Johnson excluded racial discrimination in Federal housing, hiring and contracting and President Reagan used Executive Orders to bar the use of Federal funds for advocating abortions according to ThisNation.com.

Executive orders for regulating gas emissions did not start with President Obama. The Supreme Court gave the EPA legal authority to regulate green house gas and other emissions under the Clean Air Act. As a result President Bush took action ahead of Congress by using Executive Orders to regulate gas emissions in cars and trucks.

In the State of the Union address, Pres Bush, announced his "Twenty in Ten" goal to cut U.S. gasoline consumption by 20% over the next ten years. (2007-2017).  Likewise with Pres Obama, Congress did not like the proposals in the SOTU address Pres Bush gave at that time. Pres Bush issued an executive order to get things moving. The difference between these two Presidents.....no name calling!
