This week on Still Buffering, we start our Pride movie review limited series with The Birdcage. This gem from the mid 90's is a glittering diamond of drag and family values that for many young queers was the first glimpse at mainstream acceptance. Happy...Pride? Ok we didn't really think through having the Minecraft movie be our first offering for the month of gay, but there is a non-zero amount of dudely 69'ing in this film so you know what? We're good. And weirdly so is the movie. Do we fully understand the allure of a chicken jockey? Maybe not, but join us anyway!

It's summer vacation! Perfect time to hide behind your couch from awkward scenarios playing out on your tv. This week we watched the much discussed The Rehearsal, and give our 2 cents. So 4 cents total. Or maybe one cent each. In any case, it's ok to like and also not like things.

We got a new pope the same week we're talking about a movie about a new pope! Divine intervention? Definitely. Absolutely. Better listen. God said so. Basically.
