Like many women who watched Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha's exploits in New York City as thirty (and forty)somethings, we were excited to hear they were coming back to pick up where they left off. Save the fact that Samantha won't be there, now  trolls have maligned the ladies for grey hair. Ageism in the media is still alive and well. Where we the old references for Ocean's Eleven? Nowhere to be found. Fortunately, women have gained more of a voice to point out this double-standard. Let's keep the conversation going so we can turn the page and put men and women on screen and in print, on a level playing field.

2020 will go down as one of the.most eventful years ever. With covid-19, more named hurricanes ever in history and so much more, to paraphrase Bettie Davis we've had to buckle up because it's was a bumpy year. Nevertheless with a little over a month to go, 2020 will end and in January the podcast has great things in store for our listeners. Tune into to hear what's next.

Why can't women who are north of 40 and 50 still be considered chick lit writers who write about their work-life an emotional life as women, wives, girlfriends, mothers, and Friends. We're talking about what makes TeleCheck lit a fun and relevant genre from women who want to express themselves and be read by women who are their peers.

Well things in the world want to seem like they want to divide and conquer us, we can find the commonality we all share in food, family, love, and traditions. The Stories we heard and the food we enjoyed in the kitchen I like grandmothers and mothers is something that resonates within everyone and therefore makes it easier to look at each other as people.
