A six year long journey where two lovable a-holes make a podcast about a underrated show. I was a latecomer who got stuck with ALLL the foreshadowing anywhere else. But I loved hearing the podcast grow w/ Dan and Chris. Maybe a lil mature for younger viewers, i mean they’re British people, they’re gonna swear. Regardless, this podcast introduced me to a community where people will analyze everything, and also have crushes on space rocks. (Can relate) love this show, love these amazing hosts, wished I analyzed less super creative and metaphorical cartoons for kids and more movies and shows that REAL nerds watch so I could enjoy some of their other stuff more tho. It’s a me problem.

I just can’t get enough discussions about Steven Universe.

Many people actually say it stemmed from The Misadventure of Flapjack as Penn Ward (Adventure Time), Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls), J.G. Quintel (Regular Show), and Patrick McHale (OGW) worked on the show. I also think it has to do with how the animation industry is set up. When the show your working on is over, you tend to find another show that’s on going within the studio. Just thought I’d no that for some reason. Lol Love the podcast!!

I just stumbled upon this podcast last night but so far I am loving it. I just finished the recent episode where Dan presents his script for a live action film adaptation--so much fun, definitely want to hear more about that and Chris' ideas as well! As someone else wrote, this podcast is a great companion to the show. Looking forward to hearing more!

It’s two guys who go an a really entertaining journey through one of the greatest cartoons ever made. They’re not always (maybe more like rarely) on-topic. And neither of them can pronounce anybody’s names properly. But it’s a lot of really intelligent critique and analysis, and way more correct predictions than anyone would’ve expected. -Andrew

I just love this podcast.

I love this podcast. I’ve begun rewatching SU and found this was a great way to reflect and think about things that I may not have caught on my own rewatch. Dan and Chris play off each other well, and I feel their reactions to episodes are always genuine and amusing. It is especially lovely to listen to Chris’ perspective of SU evolve from minor enjoyment to a solid fan of SU. It’s a great podcast and I love listening to it.

I’ve listened to the whole backlog in the past few weeks. Chris and Dan, the two hosts, have a great chemistry. They offer interesting perspectives on the plot developments of Steven Universe, along with a healthy serving of comedy and friendship. A real fun podcast, I’ll be looking forward to future episodes!

The structure of the podcast allows for a good mix of reaction and analysis. Great for filling the SU void during hiatuses.

A delightful duo where Dan Doolan a fan of the show drags his friend Chris, who doesn't like animated series into the show.

Thoughtful analysis and discussion, thoroughly enjoyable for fans and critics alike. The hosts tend to veer off topic with applaudable consistency, yet perhaps in spite of themselves their antics are enjoyable and entertaining.

Better than mini Cheddars

It's really fun, although I would say you might be a little bit disappointed if you're expecting it to mainly focus on the new viewer. Sometimes the person who's already watched goes on for too long about something, but ultimately if you like SU you'll probably like it.

I'm a huge SU fan, but I always like to hear other people's opinions of the show. So even if the other guy ends up hating the show, it'll be a fun ride!
