Blueprint-"Do Not Be Ashamed"
2 Timothy 1: 8-14
As we embark on an expository four week sermon series on 2 Timothy, we will see Paul exhorting Timothy, his young friend and apprentice, to kindle God's gift to him, and serve the Lord with all his might, because there is a promise of life in Christ Jesus. The church is called to be faithful to the gospel by spreading it, suffering for it, and safeguarding it. How can we as a church fulfill our vision to "Make disciples of Jesus Christ so that they will see Christ in us"?

Allowing God to Help With the Problems
“Purpose in Our Problems”
Theme: There are many times in life when we experience a problem, and after it’s over and we’re past it, we realize that there was actually some good that came from the problem. One of the most amazing aspects of God is that God can bring something good out of any situation, and any problem.

Sept 20 (16th Sunday after Pentecost)
Text: Philippians 4:4-7
Title: Allowing God to Help With the Problems
“Talking to God About Our Problems”
Theme: Talking about our problems can be extremely helpful and there are many people in this world we can talk to when we have a problem; friends, relatives, even therapists. But none of these people loves us the way God does, or cares about our problems with the level of care God has. We can talk to God about our problems, because God cares enough to listen.

Text: Romans 12:16-18
Title: “Coming Together is So Important”
Theme: Scripture tells us, “Live in harmony with one another, do not be proud but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” What does true spiritual peace look like? How do we find it? Does it truly exist?

Why?: "Is Our Faith Under Pressure?"
John 6: 1-14
We are all under some sort of pressure in life. We have pressure at home, at work, and even in our churches. Sometimes as these things add up, we feel we are in a pressure cooker and that is difficult. But did you know that when we are under pressure it develops character, strength, and clarity? This is how a diamond is created. Sometimes that pressure helps us more than it hurts us.

September 6 (14th Sunday after Pentecost)
Text: John 14:23-27
Title: Allowing God to Help With the Problems
“Peace in the Midst of Problems”
Theme: Peace can be something that is very hard to find when we have problems. Our minds can become so consumed with the problem that we tell ourselves we will have no peace until the problem is solved. But Jesus said that he gives us peace as a gift. This gift comes to us even when we have problems, perhaps sometimes more often when we have problems.

Why?
"Being the Church is Important"
Hebrews 10: 24-25
Scripture tells us we are each important when it comes to the church as a whole. In Hebrews, it tells us to consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching. This is so true looking at these past few months.

Text: 2 Corinthians 6-18
Title: Allowing God to Help With the Problems
“Putting Our Problems into Perspective”
Theme: Sometimes we live with the notion that we are never meant to have problems. But even the scriptures tell us that problems are a reality of life. When we can realize this, we will also realize that our problems may not be as big as they seem to be, and that God can help us overcome any problem.
