I choose to make my own path.   In other words. I choose to take on the dark forest.   There is great expense in following Jesus.   Think of how much they had tp invest to even make the four month 727 day journey.    Think of the planning.    Think of the cost of the gifts that they brought along with them.    Think of the financial investment it must have taken overall.    Think of the lost relationships, social standing, and maybe even jobs that occurred for being gone close to a year.    Plus they had to make the trip home as well!    Well just like there was a cost for the wisemen to follow the star.    There is cost for us when we say Jesus.    Once we say yes to Jesus we are called to take the narrow gate.    In other words. How do you know if you are on the right path?   The Wisemen had the star to guide them.   Our guide are the Fruits of the Spirit.    Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, ad self control.   Are you showing these fruits in your life?    Do you feel at peace?    Do you have patience for those around you, those that disagree with you?    Take time today. This week and the rest of the year to examine your life and see if these fruits are being lived out in all areas of your life.    If you are lacking in one area. That is okay. Start a new journey!    Thats the joy of the gift of today. Want to make history like the Wisemen?   Prepare yourself for a journey that will beat you up.  727 mile Journey!   4 month Journey! (1 year in totality)   Thats how long it took the Wisemen to reach Jerusalem from Babylon to find Jesus.   The Journey home was just as long. How did the Wisemen respond when they finally found Jesus?    They worshipped Him!    They were overcome!    So much so they fell to their knees.    Today I challenge you to worship Jesus in your way no matter where you are in you story with Jesus.    You can sing. You can dance. You can write. You can sit in silence. Radical Relationship   That is what I believe God is wanting from  us in this season.    No more country club church.    A relationship with Jesus was supposed to lead to a radical lifestyle.   I don’t mean say a prayer, or go to church, or repost a Bible verse. That’s easy.    The wiseman packed up there things and traveled across the country for 4 months. That was dangerous!
