-53. This a difficult passage but, in his message, Peter shows us how these verses fit in the greater message of Jesus. This passage is a call for us as followers of Jesus to surrender all areas of our lives to the Kingdom of God. We are to model our lives so closely after God and his way of peace that it may actually look offensive to a world that seems intent on conflict and anger.
