Infomercial?
This may have been a podcast, but it’s now an infomercial. No thanks.

Used to be great.
Used to be great. Now mostly an infomercial for their consulting business, and they can’t say much of interest without offending one client or another.

Great insights and alternative way to look at game we love.
Ted & James do a great job translating data and it’s insights. The potential butterfly effect that impact not only of transfers but the future of the game scouting and recruitment are alluded to.

Love you guys!
Thanks for hosting such a great and informative show! As a newbie to soccer, I really appreciate all the info that you talk about in such an accessible way! Go Gunners!

Super, Superb
This is one of the best podcasts especially if you are interested in stats for the beautiful game. Check out the website for excellent articles about using stats to supplement what your eyes tell you about the games. Humor, intelligence and stats, what more can one ask for in a podcast? Screen names, that's what: mixedknuts? Lord. 🤔

If we can just persuade my team to think like this
I’d prefer this to be more regular, but it is generally very entertaining and thought provoking. Much of what we here on tv about football is nonsense and these people explain it in a light-hearted way.

Awesome Soccer/Football Podcast
Started following these guys on Twitter over the summer after a friend of mine turned me on to them. Really fun and indepth look at players and clubs. Mostly focus on the EPL but will occassionally tough on the rest of Europe. The analytic nuggets they provide are really cool and fantastic to learn about.

Football Analytics from the Experts
Ted and James are excellent hosts with interesting and analytically based takes. It adds a lot to hear about Ted’s experience in the front office of Brentford and how analytics are currently used in the sport from people who are doing it for a living.

"Not the finished article" but can get there if James Yorke's underlying numbers improve!
First of all thanks for putting this together, I know its a lot of effort. I have been listening for a while and the Transfer series was a welcome break from the Euro podcasts. I have enjoyed a lot of the StatsBomb articles and that is how I got to this podcast in the first place. Ted Knutson was looking for some feedback earlier this summer so here it is. Love the concept of the podcast but the show does not stay true to the StatsBomb name or the website. Where is the stats in the podcast? I have listened to most of the episodes in the hope that I will hear something new or proper stats driven insight rather than just another opinion! We got plenty of those podcast and with the exception of the Guardian Football weekly and The Football Ramble who use pun and humour effectively, none of the other have a usp!! StatBomb has one in principle but rarely do you get to hear it on the pod. I would much rather hear the pod talk about why they like or dislike a player statistically (and what stats precisely) than just hear Ted make vomit sound at the mention of Bolasie! To Ted's credit he 'sounds' like he is better cut out for podcasts which brings me to James Yorke. I hear a lot of podcasts and nobody sounds as miserable as this guy. He sneers at almost every club, 2/3rd of the players and 35.1765% of what comes out of his mouth starts or end with "i dont know" "i dont know". Nobody want to hear what you dont know James! Crunch the numbers and tell us something you know. Thats the whole point of a StatsBomb podcast!! James should stick to writing articles, podcast hosting for him is a bit like Phil Jones taking corners. Ted needs to get the Pod's formation and tactics right!! Still rooting for you guys :)
