I find it extremely refreshing to hear interviews with leading politicians which do not allow evasive pivots and dismissal of important questions. Holding politicians accountable is fundamental in good journalism. This podcast is especially effective in forcing politicians who dodge and ignore questions to respond. Responsible and honest leaders do not need to ignore questions, pivot, or dismiss topics which they declare to be unimportant. In this age where truth and open discussion are less frequently offered by elected officials, we need more aggressive and hard hitting interviews such as this podcast provides.

I used to always watch CNN and SOTU in particular. However I think this increasing appeal to show “both sides” has really hurt their reporting and reputation. Being well informed does not mean giving air time to cooks that have praised, justified, allowed and sometimes helped plan the attempted 1/6 coup against a legitimately elected government trying to do its constitutional mandate. Every time I see any “official” being interviewed where they are politely allowed to justify their fringe MAGA ideology I just switch podcasts remembering all the pain and suffering their guys brought to this country and it frankly disgusts me. Guests say ridiculous things and the only one willing to push back is Jake. Dana doesn’t pivot well to worthwhile follow ups and will ask some variation of the original question before just moving on. It’s infuriating how poor of an interviewer you can be and still have this prestigious position. It’s not about her being too far left (she is btw), but is about her not challenging literally anything that the most ridiculous guests say.

Jake, I like your show but I am ashamed of Sen. Rick Santorum! Actually I’m embarrassed to admit that I voted for him in the primary for the presidency. I used to think he had my best interest but now I see that he is a fake. Can you possibly find someone else to represent the Republican Party on your panel? I am unsubscribing from this podcast - I cannot take the liberal bias talk of Jake Tapper anymore. The sad part is, he apparently does not even know he is bias. I have been watching political shows on TV for decades, and podcasts for many years. I use to be able to hear unbias talk from the moderators - but no more. Sad. I cannot stomach the liberal bias of Jake Tapper anymore, so am unsubscribing. Hopefully CNN will find someone to moderate the show in the future who can be unbias, and then I can start listening again. Jake Tapper - grow up.

Dana Bash is a great interviewer. She is lots better than Jake. For that matter, all the female interviewers on the Sunday shows are better than the male. I am very impressed with Dana.

I love listening to this podcast and Jack Tapper is great but I wish he’d stop putting K. Conway and other political hacks on. I cringe and then cant listen to it, I fast forward until their interview is over.
