Are you being paid by Lucasfilm? If you want to just hear news about star wars the show is fine but if you want actual analysis that isn’t here.

I think this podcast does a great job of explaining everything you need to know about both legends and canon continuity, but just one thing: they need to understand why things happen besides the canon reasons. For example, with K-2SO, I would like for them to just acknowledge that his story was red conned and Andor, and the head cannon feels unnecessary. But great nonetheless!

I love your show, but I hesitate to listen often because I don’t like to listen to your personal weekend updates before the show. I’m sure someone likes these, but maybe you can move them to the end of the episode? I feel bad leaving a bad review but on this episode about Skeleton Crew I just started, I had to skip to around 9:00 before you started talking about Skeleton Crew.

I just wanted to hate today. I didn’t even listen to the podcast. I love Star Wars. Bye.

I used to subscribe to Alex and Mollie but now I know better. Behind the scenes they attack other people like Star Wars Theory and try to ruin their livelihood. Stay away! They seem harmless but SW “Explained” is really SW “Their way or the Highway!”

I recently discovered the online Star Wars fandom and have listened to a couple episodes. I love how you include fandom happenings in your show and really appreciated your recap of DragonCon which I always thought was solely a fantasy conference. Loved the episode for James Earl Jones as well! Keep up the great work Alex & Mollie, you crazy nerf herders!

I started to listen to this couple a few months ago. Then I realized that they agree with everything and provide little nuance to things. Disney has done some great things for Star Wars and some awful things. But Star Wars explained does not address the flaw. It’s like listening to Disney talk about its own product. Sad.

No longer a decent show for the entire SW fan base but more about promoting Disney and Lucasfilms endeavors regardless of how bad the IP is or was.

The Gold standard of Star Wars podcasts. Honesty without the negativity of so many other SW content creators. Highest possible recommendation!

This is a great podcast for Star Wars fans who are looking for positivity and objectivity. Mollie and Alex and are fun , intelligent, and great to listen to. It’s a safe place for Star Wars fans who don’t hate most of the new stuff. Would whole heartedly recommend

I saw episode 4 in the theater when I was 6 years old. I learn something new from every one of your episodes. Because of your recommendations I am listening to the 2nd book in the Thrawn trilogy and loving it! Pippen and Hilo making their appearances always make me smile! 🐶🐱 I hope to meet you at a con someday!

However, I researched, and actually, Thrawn worked with Anakin during the clone wars, just before order 66. However, Ashoka had left the Jedi order like THREE DAYS before that encounter!!! If barris had just waited a week or something to bomb the temple,THEN they probably would have met. Also, keep up the great work! I do NOT see how people can give you those 1 stars—

The liberal hatred towards conservatives in this podcast is unbelievable. These people, like so many others, think it’s justifiable to treat anyone who doesn’t share their beliefs as less than human. For the left wing’s claims that they want to spread love, they certainly condone a lot of hate towards people who simply don’t agree with them. It’s no different here. Not recommended

Alex and Mollie are beacon of light in the Star Wars fandom. Their level-headed personalities and encyclopedic knowledge of the material makes a fun listen!

Able to speak relatively soundly about Star Wars topics. However, is narrow minded, and lacks inclusivity of all people who indulge in the Force. Step down off your high TaunTauns folks. Look at the grand scheme of things rather than your narrow, in the moment, selfish ideologies.

Alex and Mollie know Star Wars inside and out, but what I admire most about their channel is their ability to take the lessons of Star Wars and apply them to real life. Love what they do!

I admire their knowledge of Star Wars immensely. I really enjoy all of the commentary on the shows and canon. I think they put out a really high quality product, their podcast does a really good job of communicating ideas from Star Wars. The issue is that they are often very hurtful in their real world political rhetoric. I am not a Trump supporter, but I have some conservative opinions and they do not stop disparaging views like mine. It is painful to hear their lamentations about getting back to a normal and courteous politics but attack conservative positions. I have no issues disparaging many far right politicians, but they have no respect for other viewpoints. There are comments from their podcast about pro-life individuals or people with other socially conservative positions and they equate all of these to fascism. They equate all of these to extremism and this is an unfair characterization. Star Wars is anti-fascist, it also has a large vein of being anti-communist. This is because it is anti-authoritarian on the right and left, but so often they will conflate mon mothma with democrats, but never with sensible republicans. It’s very frustrating that they continually attack other views. It’s hurtful and I hate that my favorite Star Wars podcast has done something like this.

There’s no words to really describe how I feel about this channel. To say it’s good, or great isn’t enough! Let me tell you this should be the OFFICIAL Star Wars channel!! Alex and Molly are so dedicated to the SW community. I’ve binged watch so many videos over the years. Alex’s is always up to date on any and everything SW. This is the only SW channel I listen to and follow. I want to send thanks to Alex and Molly for continuing this channel over the years and thank you for your hard work it does not go unnoticed!

Very nice. To that guy to said he’s confused about anakin’s romance in the reviews is because his species is in danger and they need to repopulate. This is basic knowledge broskie. A++ podcast though.
