Episode #036 - Please welcome Investigative Protection Officer Patrick Rafferty. Mr. Rafferty serves in the New York Field Office and came to the Secret Service after retiring as a Captain in the New York Police Department. Mr. Rafferty served the NYPD for 25 years and in 2010 came to the Secret Service. Prior to the NYPD, he served in the U.S. Army and received his BA in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration. Mr. Rafferty said this is the best job in the world!The Technical Law Enforcement (TLE) Support Branch supports the recruitment and staffing of Technical Law Enforcement positions to include; Investigative Protection Officer, Technical Security Investigator, and Protective Armor Specialist.
