Jamie, Buttons and Seth talk some trash (specifically storm debris), and in celebration of Veterans Day, Darrell joins us to talk about the services available to our vets. Plus, Sustainability Outreach Coordinator Alia stops by to talk about all the great things going on at the Sarasota County UF/IFAS Extension and Sustainability Office.  

We're a week late with this episode, but it hasn't exactly been podcasting weather.  We join Jamie, Buttons and Seth at the Sarasota County Emergency Operations Center where they hunkered down for Hurricane Ian. They've got some helpful recovery info, plus updates from our Englewood and North Port neighbors.  

The Communications team gets a vice presidential visit from Mote Marine Laboratory, and Ronnie from Capital Projects drops by for a Hart-stopping interview.    

The Communications team 'turns it up with a live studio audience -- the Intern Sarasota class of 2022! Kyree, Christian and Katie tell us what they've been up to this summer at Sarasota County Government, and HD from HR is back with some intern info and job opportunities. Jamie, Seth and Buttons didn't win the Mega Millions jackpot, but the Siesta Key Breeze is a millionaire!   

This month, Jamie, Buttons and Seth send a birthday shout out to a very special lady. Joanna invites everyone in the entire county to give her a call, and Jordyn teaches us table manners (among other things). There may also be a very special offer regarding your car's extended warranty.

After announcements and the County Commission update, Jackie stops by to help get our yards (and us) prepared for the Florida rainy season.
