Children wrote and performed their own spells for Macbeth’s witches

We read the witches’ spell together from Macbeth and then wrote our own versions with the same rhyming pattern and rhythm.

Class 6 wrote and performed black out poems using the words of ‘The Undefeated’ by Kwame Alexander

Children read the introduction of The Lost Words and then chose the word they thought was most significant in the text. They then chose related words to build up a poem, erasing all other words they didn’t want. They have each recorded the result of their ideas.
