Adventures of Corona Camp
Have you missed us? It's been a busy few weeks for the SUTC boys but we've squeezed in a recording! This episode we end up covering our recent trip with a group of friends deemed as 'Corona Camp'. Before you report us to Boris, no it is not a gathering of people who are COVID positive to celebrate their symptoms in harmony together. It's a getaway with a few friends (second year running) to unwind and relax after the lockdown restrictions were removed.  We also cover the Olympic Games and aftermath of the Euros final! Enjoy and as always, subscribe and follow us on Instagram!

Something out of nothing
Well do we have an episode for you this week! I've got to be honest, we didn't plan ahead for this episode like we have with all the other twenty three episodes but this was a special one! From Karthik oversleeping and missing the recording by one hour to Ranjith recording the pod in his car, we had it all going on!  Today we talk about Leicester City doing it again and shocking the nation with their FA cup win, the Indian COVID variant, to whether we would sign a pre-nup, grime music, cheeky guilty pleasures, beard grooming, Nirujan's PS5 hunt update. Told you we can make something out of nothing. We hope you enjoy this episode, and as always subscribe and share the pod with your friends, family and work colleagues. Let's get SUTC out there.

The Grey Area
Have you ever wondered how you can take a conversation about COVID and lead it on to a discussion about kidnapping, taxes and moral principles? We didn’t think it was feasible either… until we recorded this week’s pod! In this episode the boys talk about “the grey area” – is it right? Is it wrong? Where do you draw the line? We speak about the moral principles behind serious and real life situations including “buying” your degree, cheating the taxman and on a more lighter note – the legendary “Bro Code”. We give you a taste of our personal experiences and times where we’ve been caught in the grey area and how we’ve dealt with the situation and the implications they have had. Enjoy!

Paathai ft Janani
Welcome to episode number 22! We talk about something close to our hearts in this weeks episode; mental health in the Tamil community residing in the UK. We have a special guest Janani who is representing an amazing initiative called Paathai (journey/path in Tamil). We believe this is so timely and will be impactful. We talk about the impact of COVID lockdown on mental health, the effects of war and asylum-seeking on our parents and how this has trickled down to our generation. We dive into the initiative and look at what Paathai is looking to achieve. We share our stories, our losses and our gains so you can know you aren't alone.

I Lipe Feta Cheese
What a week its been! Within a few days of announcing the birth of the European Super League, we had chaos across the world! What is happening to football?! Is it actually about the fans or is it all about the money? It's  been a week of devastating news with the loss of another teenager's life, Fares Maatou who was tragically killed in Canning Town, Newham. Our condolences go to the family of Fares and we hope justice is served. On another note, it's also been a week of justice as Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd. In this episode we talk about the Black Lives Matters movement and police brutality. We then touch on what it means to be BAME. Is it okay to say BAME? Is this positive discrimination?  A lot of interesting topics to discuss so definitely not one to miss out. Listen into the week's jam packed episode and as always leave a like, subscribe and enjoy! Peace!

Successes and failures
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again. That is why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan What a powerful quote! We know Michael Jordan for being one of the best athletes in history with more achievements and trophies than you can imagine but what's so great about this quote is that he focuses on the failures he's encountered rather than his successes. To be successful in life you have to take chances and you have to be prepared to face failure along the way, but this isn't the end. Michael Jordan succeeded because he kept going, kept getting better each time he played. He didn't let the losses and the missed shots keep him down. The failures fuelled his passion to achieve greatness! In this episode the SUTC crew speak about their own personal successes and failures throughout their lives. Tune in and we hope you enjoy the episode. As always, please subscribe and share the episode.
