Listen as often as I can!
Can’t wait for the new movie. Loving the theorizing and sleuthing as we get closer. Love the Newtcase. Miss the old owl sounds for owl post.

I had to stop listening…
I was a big fan when this show first came out. Loved all the original hosts. Unfortunately I had to stop listening several years ago when all new hosts came in - their comments, talking over each other about nonsense, the laughter that blows my speakers out (editing), and especially the host Lizzie, I just cannot listen to. It’s upsetting to say. I’m leaving this review now because I listen to Mugglecast frequently and two of the hosts guested on the most recent episode. I was excited to listen and give this podcast a second chance. I can’t get over the awkwardness of some things certain hosts bring up that is besides the point of conversation that they think is funny, and the tone of their voice for a podcast is not pleasing. I’m sorry to have to leave this show for a second time… hopefully they improve in the future because I would love to hear what they have to say on the movies coming in the future, but it isn’t worth listening for them. It’s frustrating because I want to like it, but I’ll get my information and entertainment somewhere else.

Slythering around Hogwarts
what are the different criteria for being awarded the different classes of the Order of Merlin? Why did Lockhart get awarded Third Class while Pettigrew got first? What do you have to do to get Second? Do you think that Snape was posthumously awarded the O.M. for his actions during the course of the books as a spy? Would Harry make sure that he was given some recognition for what he did behind the scenes? I want to see other Wizarding schools and locations like Brazil and Castelobruxo, Uganda and Uagadou, and Japan and Mahoutokoro shown off in the FB films. Or at least more background and general information on them. |~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~| "The mind is not a book, to be opened at will and examined at leisure. Thoughts are not etched on the inside of skulls, to be perused by any invader. The mind is a complex and many-layered thing... It is true, however, that those who have mastered Legilimency are able, under certain conditions, to delve into the minds of their victims and to interpret their findings correctly." -- Severus Snape |~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|~•~|

Not apolitical
You may think this is a fan podcast, but be warned that the hosts engage in shaming and intimidation to make listeners feel bad about themselves if their life views are in opposition to the ones the hosts espouse. The actor interviews were my favorite part, but it’s not worth three episodes of shaming. I’m out. The hosts can stay in their homogeneous bubble.

Haters gon’ hate, potatoes gon’ potate
I just finished today’s episode, and I can’t believe I’ve really never left a review. I usually don’t, unless I feel strongly about showing my support for something. I feel strongly. Here is my support. Yes, there’s large gaps between the films in this franchise, and that means that they might venture off topic, but the hosts are lovely and passionate, so I enjoy listening to their rants all the same. I do feel that they are self aware and try to reel it in if they need to. That being said, I have been listening to this podcast since right before the first movie came out, and I love it. I get excited for new episodes, and I appreciate the fact that there might not always be something new and fresh to talk about, but that these hosts are right there with me, waiting for news and eagerly waiting for these movies. We’re doing it together. I love the Newt Case segments at the end, too. I’ll end with a quote from Luna Lovegood on what Mugglenet podcasts make me feel like at the end of every episode: “It was like having friends.”

Meh
This podcast starts off strong but falls off quickly. It gets really hard to binge listen to die to the fact that every episode had to have at least one dig at JD. I get having one episode for everyone to share their tender feelings on it but if that's what I wanted to hear episode after episode, I would listen to a political podcast. Sadly, this is the first podcast I'm unsubscribing from and deleting from my feed. You guys end up doing what you complain about CoG doing : stop focusing on the beasts/real FB content.

I expected better from Mugglenet
I’ve been a podcast listener for years and a mugglenet fan for years but this show is just terrible. They are off topic CONSTANTLY. I turned on the episode this morning expecting to hear some fun Fantastic Beasts theories and it began with toenails being broken. Not only is that a disgusting topic for listeners it has 0% to do with Fantastic Beasts. If you can’t come up with topics to talk about, stop the show until a new movie comes out — PLENTY of people do that. I’ve tried week and week again to give you guys a go but I honestly can’t anymore.

Downhill
This show started out very interesting, however it has recently become off-putting. It seems like the main focus of many episodes has become feminism, and that’s not the podcast I thought I subscribed to.

More Beasts please
Fantastic beasts and where to find them is a movie series that expands J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World that I am BEYOND excited for! This podcast is great for hyping me up even more! I absolutely love the speculations and theories! I want more!!!! If you're a muggle you might not enjoy it as much, but if you're a witch or wizard you will find it fascinating! Great job Mugglenet!

Speaking Beasts
I really enjoy the show & have just started from the beginning. I'm on episode 6.

Too much banter, no enough content
I'd hoped the discussions would delve deeper after the movie was released, but I've found it very difficult to listen through all of the inside jokes. I prefer Mugglecast and Pottercast for discussion on the series, and hope that Alohomora holds more Fantastic Beasts episodes in the future.

Newest Ravenclaw<3
Found this podcast in August & I've loved every moment since! I only started reading HP back in '15 at 22 & finished the series this past April after I turned 23. To find a place to get excited & discuss the newest edition to the Wizarding World was FANTASTIC -wink wink;. This space has only gotten better since the films release if that was even possible! BRING ON THE NXT 4 FILMS!!

Informative but painful
I like the news and discussion that comes out of this podcast. This podcast, along with Alohomora, keep Potter alive and it's interesting to hear others' theories and thoughts (even if somewhat unfounded). Most of the hosts are tolerable, but Ariel makes me want to throw my phone out the window. She makes WAY too many references to her life and goes on crazy uninteresting tangents. If she weren't on this show I would give it 4 or 5 stars. I'm going to keep listening because I do learn a lot of interesting news and info about this element of JK's world.

Anticipation Builds
The staff is doing a great job at helping build anticipation for the upcoming movie. The sideline remarks and analysis of Pottermore posts are fun and sometimes surprisingly deep. As an older Harry Potter fan I enjoy the insight and opinions of those who grew up with Harry. Keep up the good work and I’m glad that Hufflepuff House is finally getting the notice they deserve.

Another mediocre Mugglenet podcast
Once again the good people of Mugglenet prove that those who are most enthusiastic are not necessarily the best for the job. When not postulating ridiculous hypotheses and patting each other on the back for making silly unfounded postulations, they flounder for content and laugh at their own unfunny jokes.

Beastly fantastic!
Innovative and fresh. Love MuggleNet's newest podcast.

MuggleNet does it again!
Right from the first few minutes, I was sucked in. The discussion was engaging, the hosts were savvy and funny, and the theme music was “fantastic”! I can’t wait to continue listening, especially since the Fantastic Beasts trailer got me excited for the new trilogy! If you’re a Potter fan, this deserves a listen! (Heck, if you’re a fan of good podcasts, this will hit the spot!)
Oodles of Newtles
Podcastic Beasts!
As an avid Alohomora! listener, I was excited when I found out about MuggleNet's new SpeakBeasty podcast. The show is very well produced, and I look forward to in-depth discussions as more "Fantastic Beasts" news is released. The Time Turner segment was a great addition, tying in historical events to possible plot lines. The discussions were well thought out and presented by the hosts. The movie release seems so far away, so this is a great way to stay up-to-date on the latest info and predictions. I can't wait for the next episode!

"Fantastic"!
MuggleNet is known for their podcasts, and they win again with SpeakBeasty. It's filling a much needed hole in the fandom. The hosts are witty and funny, the content is ace, and I'm so, so excited to talk Newt with them for many years to come!!
