Absolutely LOVE this podcast
I recently discovered David Through Chad Daniels and Cy Amundsen. And can’t get enough of everything he does! “Big Nothingness” is the best thing I’ve seen in my life! “Space Cave” has been in my earbuds all day for every day since I found it.

Excellent pod!
It was fun to hear David mention toying around with the idea of this podcast and starting it in the last few episodes of Professor Blastoff and then seeing it come to fruition. It’s great! I love learning about the various topics, and I find David’s voice and demeanor to be soothing which is nice for a ball of anxiety like myself. I always enjoy any project David does, and I hope I can hear him more on Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend as well! Keep up the great work with this podcast!

I Love David Huntsberger
David Hunstberger is an enormously funny and intelligent person. I listened to him originally on Alison Rosen’s podcast where you can really hear his wit and hilarious improv. Then I learned that we had similar interests in science, taste in music and comedy, and even eating questionable food! I’ve since developed a mild obsession with him and this podcast.
Thank you, David Huntsberger, for making my mornings so much more enjoyable!

David is one nice guy
Great show, and David is a great guy. We need more people like him! That's all I gotta say. But also, needless to say, I like the topics and the guests!

Inquiring mind
I enjoy hearing about a wide array of professions and the people in those jobs. The podcast seemed to start as an inquiry into science but is evolving into an inquiry into work and why we choose our jobs. Any inquiry by Mr. Huntsberger is going to include a healthy serving of humor. Another podcast well done!

Like a lot of listeners, I came here after listening to David on Professor Blastoff. I’m so happy that this podcast exists; it mostly fills the hole PB left in my heart. David is a great interviewer who is full of inquisitiveness and has a lot of respect for his guests and their thoughts and ideas. He adds a lot to the conversation while bringing levity and fun throwbacks to the PB days for fans like me. I cannot recommend PB and SC enough.

A go-to when life feels stressful
The Space Cave has it all--fascinating topics, cool/funny host, great guests. It feels like relaxing with friends (if your friends are all smart or hilarious).
Hello Noelle
So soothing, thought-provoking
David has this mellow and sweet demeanor, an unaffected curiosity about people and ideas. His approach to interviewing his guests is so friendly, casual, and unpretentious, you can easily miss that he is scary smart. He lets his guests-- almost never professional speakers, just enthusiasts explaining their fields -- shine as the conversation wanders. David follows along as an affable audience. Don't be fooled, though, he is a deep thinker with intelligent questions to keep the podcast rolling. He is the nicest guy in your dorm, who turns out to also be the smartest. With harsh personalities taking up headlines and airtime these days, the Space Cave is an oasis of softly-spoken intellectual exploration. Being a nerd never felt so safe or comfortable.

Science Needs This
I love it when my favorite comedians and my favorite subjects collide. Huntsberger has managed to take his smart humor and curiosity and combine them into a wonderful podcast. Science desperately needs more of this. Instead of weighing us down with data and jargon, David and his guests explore complex ideas in a fun and interesting way. What's more, it allows you a window into what scientists are like as people rather than names on publications. If you enjoy philosophical conversations about various scientific topics and life in general then this is definitely a podcast you want to subscribe to!

Back to Basics
Space Cave gets back to the basics that made early Professor Blastoff so great. Real science is discussed over real beers with real people. David does a great job of keeping the discussion light and funny, but you can tell he has enough science background to ask smart questions. I look forward to every new episode!

David is back!
So happy that the always amazing, talented, funny and smart David Huntsberger is back in the podcasting world after the sad ending to Professor Blastoff. David is full of great insights and has a wonderful sense of humor. Follow everything he does.

Great next step from Professor Blastoff
Getting to the bottom of unanswered questions, very funny and earnest look at life's mysteries.

Science! Cool Beer! Joy!
As super fans of Professor Blastoff, it was hard to see the show come to an end. Thankfully, David started The Space Cave. While it may not have sounds coming out of Kyle Dunnigan’s body (space sounds, David? Can we make that happen? :D), it’s a show of such personal joy that it makes us overwhelmingly happy. David clearly loves science and space (and beer) and being curious about the world around us. We all need to ask more questions and embrace our critical thinking noggins. It’s a true joy to listen to! - Non & Jessica, Joy Sandwich Podcast

5/5 for on and on
Entertaining and smart
Anyone who has enjoyed the witty thought provoking humor of David or enjoyed the brainy Professor Blastoff segments should not hesitate to dive into the Space Cave.
David views the world with true fascination and wonder. His enthusiastic and clever approach is charming and shouldn't be overlooked.

YES. Edutainment! David is a real charmer and has gotten his new show off on a good foot. Looking forward to more visits in the space cave. David- if you’re reading this, here are some suggested topics: Light speed and light years, theories on what UFOs are, and which space films are the most and least accurate.

Cool Beer!
David Huntsberger, a great comedian with an enthusiasm for learning new things, has a few beers and a chat with knowledgable experts and discusses things that fascinate him in science; things that make him go "that's nuts!" David was my favorite member of the old Professor Blastoff crew, because he always asked such great, thought provoking questions (plus he's a real goofball sometimes and I love him for that), so it's nice that he's carried the torch after the beloved "hatch" was closed for the last time. I was ecstatic when I found out that he had a new podcast in the works. Anyway, just listening to the first episode I can tell that this podcast is destined for great things, and I can't wait for more episodes! This is where I'd put some sort of podcast-related catchphrase, but since we're only one episode in, none has been established yet. So.. uh... go listen to this thing, fellow Space-Spelunkers and Space-Spelunkers-to-Be! You won't regret it!

Science With Humor and Heart
David Huntsberger is a very funny comedian with an inquisitive mind and a unique take on pretty much everything. In the first episode of his new podcast, The Space Cave, David discusses planetary exploration with Matthew Wielicki. It’s an informative chat that also packs some smiles and giggles. That could be due to the “cool beer” they are enjoying as they talk. For fans of the late Professor Blastoff podcast, The Space Cave picks up where PB left off. SUBSCRIBE NOW!!!
