Sowing the Seed
Sowing the Seed
Reagan Evans
Sowing the Seed is all about exploring and better understanding into what the Bible has to say about the many things we face in our lives as young adults. One of my favorite things about the Bible is how often agriculture is used to help us better understand Jesus, following Him, and more! Through this podcast, together, we can further dig into these concepts, have great conversations about the things we face as young adults (dating, money, careers, friendship, discipleship, and more!), as well as sharing about the agricultural industry and helping people become more knowledgeable about it!
A Father Who Loves The Nations
I was joined with two friends who spent a summer overseas for a cultural exchange experience. We got to talk about their experiences in a new and different culture which includes some of their favorite parts and some experiences that were difficult to navigate but ultimately led to great opportunities! We also talked about what the Bible says about God's heart for the nations and how we can be apart of His big plan to reconcile all people to Him.

Honoring Others While Upholding My Beliefs
I was joined by Luke Alpers on a conversation about how we can uphold our beliefs in the secular school system. Navigating how to be a faithful Christian while working in a very secular system where we can't openly share the Good News is difficult. Especially when the Bible tells us to! We discussed how to respond well when students share with us hard things we don't support and practical steps to show them that we love them and care for them. Our witness matters A LOT, and how we steward that is important.

Feminism vs. Biblical Femininity
This week on Sowing the Seed two of my close friends, Elise and Abby, joined me an we dug into modern day feminism versus biblical femininity. We discussed what modern feminism is, our hot take on it, and how it has impacted our culture. Biblical femininity is a topic that isn’t often talked about, so we talked about it! Looking at how the Bible has clearly defined our roles as women and how our Heavenly Father values women so much. A few other things we touched on was how this impacts women in agriculture in how we can continue to progress in the industry without overstepping, as well as answering the question of how our brothers in Christ can support us and help us step into the callings the Lord has given us in a biblical context! What I wish college freshman me knew...
College is a BIG transition and there are lots of decisions to make. Who and what will influence you and the decisions you make? Will you be influenced by God, the Bible, and godly community or will you be influenced by the world and the lies of the enemy? This week on Sowing the Seed, we are joined by our guest and close friend Levi Nutter. We talked about what we wish we had known when we were freshmen or advice we would give to incoming freshmen (or anyone in college)! Whether it was a lesson learned the hard way, or that through the grace of God what we avoided or was protected from, was revealed and we desire to share this wisdom with others. No matter what your story is when you start new chapters of life, the story of redemption is continuously being written!
