This podcast is so calming to listen to. You guys go perfectly in depth to each comic you cover. (Also you mentioned The Life of Chuck in the 200th episode. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s one of King’s non-horror stories, like Shawshank. I read the Life of Chuck short story shortly following watching the movie—perfectly adapted. There was a narrator in the movie, so much of the original writing was in the movie. The movie just elevated the story. Highly recommend to anyone out there. It’s a gift of a movie.)

As a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan, I would love to read all of the comic runs but I just don’t have the time. Source Pages dives deep into the comics to inform and prepare you for future show/movie releases. Brian and Hayley never disappoint and I look forward to listening to their coverage weekly!

#WhatIfWanda The Source Pages is the place to find out about the inspiration behind the Movie or the Television Seres based on the actual novels or comic books that they were based on. Hayley Hobbs & Brian V. Klein take the time to read and break down the novel or comic book series, so you don’t have to read them yourself, in order to provide the inspiration for a movie or television series. They both provide the equivalent of the “Cliff Notes” for the stories so you wouldn’t have to read them, or to get you interested in reading them. I personally have sought out those novels or comic books, in order to read them for myself, after listening to that weeks podcast. Both Hayley and Brian are quite knowledgable when it comes to these stories and they provide their own perspectives about them. They even started a Source Pages spinoff for Doctor Who called Timey Wimey Talk which broke down each episode of the most recent season of Doctor Who which I really enjoyed listening to. I would wholeheartedly recommend listening to The Source Pages podcast (and have done so to my friends, family, and on Social Media) as you will be fully entertained by them.

Expect comic deep dives, but at heart this podcast thrives as two very charismatic people tell all kinds of stories. Even if I'm not deep into a universe they're talking about, listening is still refreshing and fun. They dk a good job of inviting people into their worlds rather than other shows that can isolate the listener if they don't have preexisting context and knowledge.

This podcast is French Kiss! I enjoy the primers y’all do, and look forward to seeing what’s next. One of my top three stranded panda network shows.

I’ve been following this podcast since it’s inception and I haven’t looked back. It is perfect for those who want an in-depth discussion into the stories that inspire the movies and shows we love. Though Brian and Hayley mostly cover Marvel Comics, they don’t just stop there; they’ve done plenty from DC to Dune to Lord of the Rings, etc. The two hosts always keep an engaging conversation whether it be on the book they’re covering, a dip into their lives, anecdotes, sports and the like to make the listener feel like they know them on a personal level. Listeners can read along with them as they always post their reading list on their social media pages including the Stranded Panda group on FB where they (and their colleagues) seem to really love connecting with their audience. You don’t just get good content out of following this podcast; you become part of an online community with a lot of great active members. Thank you two and all of Stranded Panda for giving the nerds another platform.

I really enjoy listening to source pages because I’m the alpha geek among my friends who goes and learns as much as I can about the characters I’m seeing on screen. I love reading my comic collection and finding new things to read and this podcast always helps me find new content to expand my knowledge. I heard about this podcast on Marvel Cinematic Universe Podcast, gave it a try, and loved it! As a comic reader myself, it’s nice to see all of this comic knowledge being tied into the movies and series for everyone.

I found this podcast while listening to my other favorite in the stranded panda network and I’m so grateful. My obsession with Marvel is purely for the movies since I have no comic book background but thanks to this cast I have all the little insights that make me feel like a better fan. I started with their Moon Knight primer and haven’t looked back. Laters gators!

Whenever something new is coming out, a movie or a new MCU character is introduced, I always try to research that character or read up on the story. As a mom of two toddlers, I’m so glad there is a podcast that can now do this for me! The MCU podcast is wonderful to review and "fan-girl" over new content with, but Sourced Pages takes that one step further and really dives into the lore of these stories and characters to prepare you for the new content. I have been listening to the MCU podcast for a while now, and with all of the love and joy I get from the stranded panda family I knew I had to branch out. I have wanted to get much more into the comics world for a few years now and have held out for a personality or group I enjoyed and Moon Knight releasing gave me just that opportunity and excitement! When I see a movie based on comics, I always find myself wondering about the comics that provided the source for that movie, but seeking them out can be challenging. The solution -- This Cast!! Hayley and Brian post comics (generally about a dozen) related to a property in advance so you can read them (though this is not required), and then discuss them. It's so helpful, and I love it!

I’ve only recently started in the MCU and never read the comics. Having a car go over all the source material is great. BVK and Haley do a masterful job with this podcast.

It's not that I don't like to read novels and comics. I do, it just that the volume of information out there available to me is a daunting mountian. I have a long list of things I want to read that aren't related to shows and movies as well. So it is really nice to have some of the background work done for me on new shows and movies coming out. These guys take books and novels as introductions to our favorite movies and shows. So far we have had a look into Black Widow, Kang, Uatu, Shang Chi, and WandaVision source materials. It has been a lot of fun so far. Can't wait for the upcoming Dune deep dive!
