NTC's and NMC's combined with cap restraints and GM's frankly being terrified to do something they may regret has all conspired to make trading virtually non exsistent in today's game. 30 years ago however, seemingly everyone got dealt. From the 1995 draft until the 1996 trade deadline, it truly was the NHL's version of the wild west.
