My friends and I often talk about a song being imune to the over played syndrome. Why are their great songs that we are tired of hearing while other songs that aren't quite as good, but are ones we never get tired of hearing. This podcast tries to explain that concept and does a great job of sharing why we like what we like.

I really enjoy this show. Harris does a fantastic job of breaking down why songs work and what the musicians are doing. He does this in a very approachable manner. I also appreciate the fact that he uses different genres to illustrate the point. Check it out!

A feel good podcast that will have you humming tunes from well known pop culture outlets. Truly a welcomed podcast every time a new episode goes up.

I just listened to Episode 006 because I saw mention of "Big Yellow Taxi" (good song) and Counting Crows (good group) in the title, although I actually didn't know that they'd covered that song. Heck, I didn't know that eleven different artists have done that song. I didn't know a LOT until I listened to this episode -- and all in just 14 minutes. Very informative, very insightful, very well-spoken host. He sounds very knowledgeable on the subject matter (songwriting, music history, grammar style) and keeps in entertaining. Nicely done!

This podcast is increadably interesting. He explains concepts about songs that I never had thought about in an interesting and compelling way. Love listening!
