Motherhood has seriously been the hardest hood I’ve ever been in. Until much of the knowledge of this podcast, I never truly knew why. But from listening have learned that it’s the healing and spiritual journey of myself. I love that Yesenia and Paulo give tools of reflection for me to seek my inner answers. I look forward to episodes every week and love the extension of truth behind parenting, marriage, partnership and the hard stuff like sexual abuse. This podcast is a MUST listen for EVERY parent.

Listening to the summer series has broadened my perspective and has helped change my mindset regarding different aspects of parenting. I’m loving this series!

What a gift to our community to have two Latino parents share their parenthood journey with the rest of us who are also trying to figure out how to do this thing “right”. I appreciate all the consciousness parenting material and perspectives including the ways in which both Yesenia and Paulo try to incorporate the material into their own lives. I’m excited for future episodes and to continue to hear conversations that resonate with my own parenthood journey. This is not a “how to” podcast but better yet, a “how to heal yourself first” and then-learn-to parent-from-that-consciousness-standpoint podcast. Bravo guys!!!

I love the dynamic between hosts / husband and wife Yessenia and Paulo. Their openness about growth makes this for a very relatable podcast on so many levels. You’re not only learning great parenting techniques but they share the added depth of their relationship and experience.

Listening to their podcast makes my 45 minute commute feel like a breeze and less of a drag. At the end of every episode I feel productive. I take away so much knowledge that I can easily apply to my everyday life. I am truly inspired by their work!

After listening to the first episode you want to subscribe. As parents they are so open to saying how they feel and sharing their experiences. You can relate in so many ways- while listening you can't help but go along and agree or disagree with some of the topics on hand. Love this podcast!

These two are just talking about a real life. The episodes so far are just a married couple with kids talking about being parents. How their upbringing affects how they parent. It's not preachy or judgmental. Just how they are figuring it out as they grow along with their kids. The situations are relatable and insightful. I was laughing and crying right along with them.

Paulo and Yesenia have a breadth of knowledge not only as parents but as educators and social workers. Their honesty and vulnerability is amazing.

I try to positive parent every.single.day. and every single day I feel like I'm failing. Yesenia and Paulo are able to talk about the other side of parenting. The side no one talks about or posts about on social media. They talk about trying. I genuinely appreciated hearing two parents who clearly adore their children and want what's best for them, and hearing about the work it takes to get there. Not just hearing the results. Thank you for being genuine and authentic.
