This show was interesting for the first couple years and has slowing declined into a guy complaining about the topic and his peers who are trying to break stories while he constantly tells he needs more money to continue a show that he seems to be tired of doing.

That guy who admits to using all kinds of mind altering drugs, rambles on and on about …what? A waste of time.

you won me over with the latest episode on Captain Kirk.

Ryan is kind to every guest and because of that, he gets really good first person witnesses that likely wouldn’t feel comfortable telling their whole story otherwise. Like his book, his podcast looks at the UFO subject in a way that focuses on the interaction and affects on the humans involved. With a lot of UFO pods out here, he’s in my top 3

Great and informative episode on cases and stories from Puerto Rico! As someone whose family is from there, it made me want to visit the island to check the specific spots! ¡Muy espooky!

Been searching for a show just like this. Serious minded. Frank. Easy to listen to. Endlessly thorough. A wonderful audio companion for anybody interested on UAPs and the paranormal, and the evolving cultural impacts that surround them.

I really did. Ryan is an engaging and honest host. He has great guests (or used to). The show even has great production values (may not be important to everyone, but I really enjoy when a pod puts a lot into its audio quality). But, along the way, Somewhere in the Skies lost its sense of wonder and mystery. Ryan tends to immediately agree with guests, ESPECIALLY the more skeptical ones (even about issues with no certifiable proof in either direction) and I wonder if this isn’t being done to appeal to a different audience. As is, the show is just ok. It’s basically a review of the week’s UAP news, with a little tech and science thrown in. And an occasional guest star (they love to bash the more out-there folks like Lazar) that seems like they’re recruited to make sure everyone knows how GROUNDED the show is now. Blah. 2 stars.

From the Dead to the aliens... Payne does justice to all of it! My only complaint, is that I wish it was a regular series. There is so much to learn, and even more to be uncovered when it comes to life among us.

Love the show. And I’ve noticed that the word “interdimentional” is often used. That word has no scientific meaning that I’m aware of. Even string theory with its conjectured 11 dimensions cannot be experimentally verified. The idea of a reality beyond time and space, “eternity”, “Interdimentional”, and similar ideas are compelling and not scientific because they cannot be experimentally verified. Not to say there is no reality there.

The shows are insightful with Ryan doing his homework on the guests and topics. If you have an interest in the ufo/uap phenomenon, give Somewhere in the Skies a listen. You will be glad you did

The only show that really takes a serious look at this subject. Whether you believe or not is up to you. Very informative and entertaining definitely worth a listen.

Used to when I was growing up UFO and cryptids were thought to be fake and fringe. Used to when I was growing up we trusted our government and the left’s foot soldiers, the FBI and ATF, without question. Used to when I was growing up we trusted the media to be fair. Now there are Senate hearings and abundant evidence of aliens. Now we have rampant sightings of cryptids and the unexplained. Now we know for a fact there is a Deep State of FBI, mainstream media, the democrat party, social media and George Soros/Chinese/Russian money to destroy our nation. Ive been listening to this podcast for about a year now and im absolutely fascinated in the ufo topic. Ive always thought about starting my own podcast and this one really intrigues me to do so! Please keep up the good work!

I like Ryan’s enthusiasm for the topic and for all the work he does. I’m not crazy about the (over-) acting done on the show, and some of the production seems contrived.

Somewhat entertaining, I cringe every time he says "my man" its seems forced/fake like when a white guy says bro or brother to a black guy.

Good content, but the host’s vocal style/affect makes it unlistenable for me.

So much to learn and catch up on! Thank you for your dedication to getting this out.

An excellent review with interviews from prominent figures in the field of UFOlogy! I really enjoy the human aspect that Ryan Sprague focuses on.

Show is rather respectable for a ufo podcast. Unlike so many of its peers, it is rarely campy or hokey while often maintaining a light-hearted vibe. I actually really like the intro song and the background music… especially during the documentary style episodes. I really like the listener stories also. Keep it up Ryan!
