I really enjoyed this podcast and was sad when there didn’t seem to be any more episodes, but lo and behold, they are back! Of course I have not watched either of the two movies that they talked about so I’m going to have to watch those before listening to the new episodes. :) But I enjoy the banter between you guys and I love the break downs of the movies. And of course, always love some true crime!

Using film as a backdrop to highlight statistics, history and true crime is very smart. Excellent way of oddly grounding the current popularity of true crime with art.

I was attracted to this podcast because I love the Movie Pet Semetary and their tagline was right up my alley. They have fun opinions and the true crime portion of the podcasts are frequently spot on. Sometimes I feel like a little more research on the movies could be done before talking about them as I have heard many things said about the movies that they didn’t know but are pretty common knowledge. I would love to hear more facts.

So fun to listen to!

I have listened to every episode that has a movie associated with it that I’ve see before. Sometimes I see movies just so I can listen to their corresponding episode. Every episode is edited, apparently. I would never have known it. There are never any awkward cuts. Everything sounds natural and like a real-time conversation. The theme song at the beginning is perfect for the kind of podcast this is. It’s in that minor key, and a couple of notes the vocalist sings are just a little bit under-pitch, to great effect. The only criticism I might have is that sometimes the hosts spend a significant chunk of an episode talking about a movie or show that has nothing to do with the movie the episode is supposed to be about. There’s one that begins with lots of chatter about Game of Thrones. I’ve never seen that show. I know nothing about it. It’s not my thing. I’d suggest they either stick to the topic, or say something like “We’re going to be talking about such-and-such for a little while, so if you’re not interested in hearing about that, fast-forward to the 20 minute mark” or something. It’s obviously not enough of an issue for me to dock the rating, though. Other than that, I love it, and I think you will too.

This is a must listen for any true horror movie fan.

Chris and Christin are hilarious! The commentary always makes me want to go back and watch the movie again. I'd like to request more Elise, because she has the most adorable voice I've ever heard. I also like that they mention what alcohol they're drinking in every episode, because I also drink alcohol while I listen.

This pod is very entertaining. The transitions between segments are very smooth which makes for a good flow throughout and the hosts have good chemistry so the conversation is never dull. 5 stars!

Because it is my podcast! But I do still love it. Chris is very smart with his analysis of the movies and makes you want to just join in with him to discuss the movie and have a drink too.

I really enjoyed listening to Christen and Chris banter! My favorite part was listening to the sound of wine pouring from the bottle- they definitely made good use of that alcohol!

Chris and Christin are great together. Chris has a lot of info and interesting theories on the movies. Enjoy Christin’s creepy true crime stories and how she connects them to the movie.
