First, my oldest son’s name is Julian. Second, your mom sounds very wise and how lucky you are to have such a supportive family. I listen to podcast sometimes at night to fall asleep and when I told my husband that you were no longer on Rory and Mal, he said,”that stinks cuz Julian was the only one that was funny and worth listening to.” I actually enjoyed the show besides Mal if I had to be honest. I am a white woman who is part Irish like Rory and have always been a hip-hop and R&B fan like him, so I was kind of surprised that he let you go so easily and then I thought well maybe I have less in common with him than I gave him credit for. Please explain why he fights so hard for Mal cuz he has no personality, is always yelling about something stupid, and the way he has treated baby-D in the past (all of a sudden he is trying to be “fake nice” to her) has made my blood boil. Anyway I am wishing only good things for you and will continue to listen and support your show.

It’s refreshing listening to this type of storytelling. When I listen to a podcast I would prefer to gain a little insight or some knowledge on a topic I may not be familiar with & Julian does a beautiful job delivering. Glad you’re doing your own thing!! Bring on people who ELEVATE the conversation not deter it.

I enjoy the podcast! I’ve always appreciated the fact that Julian does his homework before running down a topic. I’m kind of open to a b-mic that meshes with his personality but his nice to not have a hear a bunch of screaming and yelling lol. Good stuff
