Dominik Simmen is a singer, musician and psychology major at the University of Kiel. In 2022, he reached the semi-finals of Germany’s most popular TV casting show, the counterpart of “America’s got talent.” Thirty-eight years ago, Jens Soering also played electric guitar in a band and majored in psychology at college — before getting involved in a double-murder. Today, Dominik and Jens are both in the public eye, trying to build new lives without losing their identities. In this podcast, they talk about all kinds of social issues and current events, not just their experiences with TV casting shows and high security prisons. Despite their vastly different ages and backgrounds, they keep finding parallels and connections.
