Dad, mom, son, daughter: all in the same room but individually immersed in their own screens.
Who hasn’t experienced this situation. In many living rooms this is a daily happening.
Family members check their device when a specific task or event has finished such as eating a meal, or someone receives a notification for example.
It happens. It’s okay.
Do you notice that moment though?
That moment when everyone is busy with their aluminum companion in their own world?
It can be funny to witness this situation, but again: it’s fine!
For how long though is everyone individually using their screens?
Is it just for a few minutes, or are complete evenings “wasted” this way?
We communicate to people by ourselves. We watch series by ourselves. We game by ourselves.
