Trades and signings in MLS, Women's World Cup finally gets interesting, the US Women lose in group play but still advance, and in MLS, Portland lose at home again but Nagbe scores a wondergoal, while New England and RSL have a wild Fourth of July shootout in Salt Lake, and NY put five past Toronto.

The Gold Cup comes to a fantastic goal-fest conclusion as the USA blow a two-goal lead, and in MLS early road goals seem to be the trend, though the home teams all come back.
