This is a reading of my third Sober Gay Guy Blog post Dated October 27th 2020. After more than 100 days of sobriety, the best was I can explain it is that my brain cells responsible for some of my youngest memories began to heal and my memories were resurfacing. These memories and feelings were the beginning of what started a now solid relationship with my accountability practice. Telling my unabashed and raw truth, from my childhood up to my last drink have helped to keep me sober and honest. Walking through the trauma of my childhood and finding commonality between my father and other members of my family have made me feel less alone. I hope these Blog readings bring you the same clarity they have brought me.
