This is a reading of my second Sober Gay Guy Blog post Dated October 21st 2020. After more than 100 days of sobriety and feeling desperately alone, I had finally gained enough clarity to make sense of what was going on in my head. My memories and feelings were the beginning of what started a now solid relationship with my accountability practice. Telling my unabashed and raw truth, from my childhood up to my last drink have helped to keep me sober and honest. Walking through the trauma of my childhood and finding commonality between my father and other members of my family have made me feel less alone. I hope these Blog readings bring you the same clarity they have brought me.
