Sometimes we have a mentality that tells us everytime something good happens, something bad must follow. But God in His unconditional love gives us joy without the need to pay a price for it. 

Ever wonder what God is up to, especially when it looks like things aren't working out? That's usually our cue to surrender to Him; allow Him to work in your life and allow Him to keep some things hidden from you - He will show you when its time. 

Picture riding a bike down a hill- the faster you go down the hill, the more momentum you have and the easier it is to go up the next hill. So don't stop. 

We ask and ask and ask, but do we take a moment to receive that which God gives? Are we waiting for God to give or is God waiting for us to take that which He has given?

God puts a dream in our hearts, then we make our own way to it and get angry when things don't go according to plan. That's because you're trying to make your own way, your own plan. God has a better plan; oh, and He knows the best road to get you there.

We tend to rant to God and call it prayer; yes, tell Him about your problems, but then leave it with Him. Become quiet in prayer, and let Him do the talking.

A Potter has the right to make out of clay what He wants it to be- who is the clay, that is still busy being shaped, to question the one that's shaping it?

Life's Mount Everest is pretty tall, right? At least God has already prepared you for it. 

Ever feel you're losing the battle and there's nothing you can do about it? That means it's God's turn to fight. 

You are the child of the living God- that's where your identity lies.
