I recently stumbled upon this show and have binged the series and finally all caught up! Being born and raised in Michigan, it’s crazy to hear all the stories for out state. But I love that Jenn keeps the episodes real by not editing out all of her mistakes. Love the show and can’t wait for more!

I have always enjoyed true crime. I’ve going down the Michigan crime rabbit hole when it comes to crime podcasts.

Jenn does a great job with the facts, information and limited time allowed to research older crimes and provide a fun and interesting podcast. I think the most alarming thing from these shows are how many kookoo for Coco puffs twatz there are walking around among us. Some in prison, some free as a bird! Always carry your favorite “protective buddy” with you and be aware of your spacial surroundings friends!

Jenn brings it home for me every episode! Born & raised Michigander, I been living in the Deep South for 20+ years. I love how Jenn connects me with home. She’s an excellent story teller, engaging & real. No sugar coating & NO politics (so refreshing right). We are all here for one thing…the crime & details. Jenn never disappoints & I can “hear home” in her delivery!!! So glad she’s putting out new episodes soon!!!!

As a misplaced Michigander (and Lansinian), this podcast gives me sooo much morbid nostalgia and weird comfort. It seems like fate that I found it just as you are coming back 💕

I met Jenn at her shop in REO town in Lansing. She was so much fun to talk to and I was excited to hear she had a podcast and I have been binging it since then!❤️❤️

My friends were all listening so I started bingeing and can’t get enough. I love the personal comments and stories. It’s so cool that I live in the Lansing area and know a lot of the places referenced. Never knew the blue building on Pleasant Grove that I pass all the time had such a history!

Too much talking about yourself and too much irrelevant background. This is my first and last. Enough about La Bamba. Yawn.

Love the story choices but cannot stand how much she vilifies whites, cops, and soldiers. I mean it’s pretty bad. If she could tell a story without letting her extreme liberal hate get in her way I’d have given 5 stars. Nothing more irritating than a hateful person believing they’re on the side of righteousness.

As a Lansing (REO Town) resident I was thrilled to learn of this podcast through local media coverage and mention of the Fruit Wars episode. What an introduction and it was the perfect one to get me hooked. Capone was in my city?!? TELL ME MORE!! Jenn is an intelligent wordsmith and storyteller. This is reflected in her not allowing her vocabulary to be restricted and freely using four letter words old whites try to vilify… No, I’m not talking about WOKE. Fragility often deflects on others and may suggest swearing isn’t ‘ladylike’ and displays ‘feminine sensitivities’ to which I say… It is 2023, shut the Fu€k up! There have been numerous studies done that show people who use those ‘evil’ words are more intelligent than those whom try to restrict the use. These are the same people that try to ban books from schools and libraries, but I digress. Keep putting out the great content and laugh in the face of these clowns that have nothing better to do than look for something to complain about. Your swearing, singing, and mispronouncing of words and ability to make fun of yourself for it shows your personality and what connects with the listeners. There have been other podcast about true crime in Michigan and they’re not nearly as captivating as the way you tell stories. Keep Slaying Scream Queen

Anytime I complain about foul language, the typical response has something to do with my “feminine sensitivities.” Maybe. But still, the constant use of such language was quite ridiculous. It took away from the actual story line. I was excited to find a podcast detailing cases based in my home state, it’s a shame I couldn’t make it through the first episode. Criminals are wicked, I get that. But using the f-word every single time you mention them? Unnecessary.

I’ve absolutely 💯 identified that I love this podcast!

I am such a big true crime fan and finding Violent Ends (so dead) has just been fantastic! I love that Jenn is also from the Lansing area and I know the areas she is talking about. Thanks Jenn for being so amazing and bringing local stories to us!

Been with this podcast since the beginning. Love her weird humor & honesty. Not so much the language, but that’s just Jenn. Love that she does in depth research. Most of the times she does much more accurate research than the big time podcasts. That’s what I like. Even though I’m not from Michigan, I find the stories very intriguing. She presents stories in such a way that everyone will understand it & its not too gross. She doesn’t laugh @ stories. More so she might laugh @ the idiots that are the perpetrators. I don’t like when podcasters laugh @ the crimes. It’s really in bad taste. And Jenn doesn’t do that! She includes stories from her own life & family & sometimes makes everyone feel like a part of the story. Love, love, love this podcast! She experiences life just like we do & tells you about the history of Michigan & about their crimes. Recently she has started including reviews from books that she sells in her bookstore about murders & crimes all over the states. You need to listen to her podcast! It’s great!

Jenn’s podcast is a perfect mix of history, intrigue, horror, and humor! She takes time to research her stories and each episode is even better than the last. I highly recommend to anyone who likes Michigan history, true crime, and solid entertainment!

The accents, the language, and the stories make this podcast amazing to listen to! I hate to say it, but I laugh most of the time. The stories are super intense and creepy but these women are amazing!

I just finished “Creeper” and loved it! Not only was the storytelling captivating but the authenticity in the end really got me in the best way ever. I for one like the delivery, fun accident words, giggles, and all. Preferred actually. So. As a lifelong fan of all things scary I gotta say thanks for existing and filling my ears with so much thought provoking terror! ❤️

I was so excited to find a Michigan true crime podcast! And then I gave it a listen, and I was pleasantly surprised to find great audio, an engaging, fun, personable host who isn’t the slightest bit annoying, and she has a pleasing voice! Great Podcast. The recent episode was a little too political. Heartbreaking murders and stories- however stories like these happen all the time. Botched surgeries and horrible doctors, suicide over relationships, and murder involving boyfriend girlfriend stuff. That stuff happened long ago when abortion was illegal and continued to happen when abortion was legal. Jen tying these situations into the new Supreme Court ruling was a huge stretch and unnecessary.

By far my favorite pods. I’m from Mason would love a story from here! Ps keep the mistakes makes it more genuine!!

“So Dead” is my favorite go to podcast. Jenn is expert on true crime. The stories are well researched and excellently presented.
