Missing Carole already. Tom had an uninformed take on quantum computing. He drops a bunch of random rants that are distracting and unhelpful trying to be funny but it doesn’t work (printer comments for example). Might be unsubscribing from this soon.

I make it a point to listen to a variety of podcasts to stay current on the news, and this is in the top 3 for me. Carole, fricking love the wit but also the professional ads…you’re a big part of what made me double back after my first listen to really appreciate the banter atop the industry insight from Graham. Thank you and please keep making episodes while I listen to all of the ones made so far.

The Podcast app kept recommending Smashing Security, and the description suggested humor is what differentiates it from other security focused podcasts. So let’s give it a try. I generally enjoy the dry, sarcastic tone of British humor but that first episode was 30min of just crappy bullying. Including trash talking Robin William (rest in peace). Haven’t unsubscribed from a podcast that fast in a looooong time.

Really fantastic and informative fun for the interested amateur…especially the kind of person whose friends think they are way too paranoid about cyber security and data privacy! You can tell your friends to listen to this and prove that if anything, many more people should be way more concerned and more informed about this. Plus I really love Graham’s mildly insane-sounding laugh. I just discovered this podcast and am listening to all of the back episodes going back to 2017 -just because they’re so darn entertaining :)

They just summarize articles, some of which came out years ago. You could read the articles in 10 minutes or listen to an hour of not-so-witty banter. I’ve made my decision.

This is a great podcast. Graham and Carole are hilarious. I enjoy hearing their views on different incidents. I enjoy hearing from the various guests who appear on the show. Graham, when are you going to share your hot takes on the alleged chess cheating scandal?

My favorite infosec podcast and one of my favorites overall. Current, well produced, easy to listen to and Graham and Carole seem to like each other. It's not deeply technical, but just the right level of detail for someone like me who teaches tech to MBAs and likes to keep up with current events.

I’ve listened to this podcast for many years hoping I’d enjoy it and get something out of it. Fortunately, each time has exceeded my expectations. There are a plethora of other cyber security podcasts that are probably worth a listen too. A note to the hosts: You can’t please everyone and it’s not worth trying. You put a smile on my face once a week and I’m always impressed with the detail and work that goes into your podcast.

Thursdays have become my favorite day of the week because I get to listen to Smashing Security during my morning commute. It’s by far my favorite podcast. Thank you so much for creating this gem, Carole and Graham!

I’ve been listening to Smashing Security for a bit over a year now, ever since I developed more of an interest in cyber security and infosec. It’s not only a great way to catch up on the news but it’s also pretty funny too! I look forward to listening every week. The hosts also bring on some interesting guests and the light hearted mood of the show makes it accessible to anyone.

I’ve given this podcast a try multiple times, over the years hoping I’d both enjoy it and get something out of it. Unfortunately, each time has been disappointing. There are a plethora of other cyber security podcasts that are more with while.

A hilarious and informative podcast that I love listening to. The banter between Graham and Carole is the best, and their guests only add to it. If you’re the slightest bit interested in tech, check it out. You will not regret it.

I have a bit of a reputation for getting out in the weeds… mostly unintentionally but I never regret the journey. Carole, Graham and friends take me out into the cyber security weeds every week and I love it. It’s not always about foreign phone scams and ransomeware. Thanks for all the episodes full of warnings about which IoT wearables to avoid, apps to avoid or delete and what happened to the eccentric players. Best of all is the rich history brought to the table with a colorful sense of humor shining a light onto some of the not-so-great tech out there. Thanks again for all the hard work and dedication put into each episode… and many more to come.

Discovered this great show during last year while working from home and commenced to binge. Fun and informative. I especially love the “pick of the week”. Those picks led me down so many great rabbit holes. Thanks so much.

An excellent podcast for lighthearted security banter and feeling like you have a spot at the table. This solidly keeps its place as my #1 security podcast. The stories are timely and the guests are fantastic contributors to the discussion. I was hesitant about sponsor interviews but even they are great security insights. Graham and Carole are in their element and I’m so glad they decided to share this podcast. The experience can be elevated if you listen to the Host Unknown podcast as well but only if you listen to Smashing Security first.

This security-based podcast is far from dry. Carole and Graham are masterfully skilled at keeping security related topics interesting and digestible, with engaging guests and generous sprinkles of humor. Wouldn’t it be fun to have them create study guides for the CISSP exam? I hope they keep it going for many years!

I just started listening about 7 months ago and I just finished going through all the old episodes. The hosts do an excellent job at telling stories and weaving their personal experiences in with them. It was a sad day when I finished the last one now I have to try and find another podcast to listen too in Between these episodes. I’ve always been told my laugh was like Graham’s glad to see someone else like me! Highly recommend!

I started listening to these like a year ago and now I’m so hooked. The way the show is conducted is perfect, keeps you engaged and very well informed. It’s also funny and Carole and Graham make an amazing duo. Remember to also follow their subreddit.

This week I finished listening to every back episode on iTunes. Great fun and very informative. This podcast is great for security nerds but it’s real power is with regular people wanting to learn about IT and data security without all the jargon or feeling overwhelmed. A saying in my office now, that helps with perspective, however bad the IT snafu we are dealing with - It’s not Ebola.

I look forward to the new episode of Smashing Security every week to hear about the latest trends in InfoSec and cryptography. Started tuning in to keep up to date on the latest hacks/exploits and stayed for the incredible charm of the hosts Graham and Carole. Listening to these two spitball always gets me grinning on my morning commute. Cheers!

Overall I look forward to this podcast coming every week because it makes me a better cyber security professional and it is one of the most entertaining pieces of media that is currently produced. For real, this podcast is the best. You are a cyber security professional it is a must. If you are somebody who likes to hear about computer technology and science in general, this is a must. If you are a carbon-based life form living on the planet earth, or not, this podcast is a must. If you like witty banter between very smart people, this is a must.

This is by far one of the most amazing podcasts I have listened to. The quality have not deterred at all. The way Ghram and Carole have taken user feedback is amazing. Thank you for being an escape when things go wrong I know I can always pop in a headphone and put on SmashinG Security.

This is by far the best cyber security weekly news podcast. It’s so entertaining, and informative. Even my wife, who doesn’t know the difference between OSX, Windows, and Linux loves listening to this. Keep it up and I’ll keep listening!
