We talk about photography - part 1
The Smartere podcast is back after a vacation a little longer than planned. We are ready for a new season. In the episode we talk about photography. A hobby we didn't knew we shared when we started the podcast. This is the first of two episodes as ran out of time before we had talked about all the items on our outline. In the first part we talk about the following headlines/questions: - Why is photography a good thing for each of us? - What is our favourite motives? - Where do we find inspiration? - What's the gear? - Inspirational videos or papers? The intro to this episode was recorded after our vacation, but major part of the episode was recorded just before we started our vacation. As a special "magnificent" treat in the outtakes after the episode, you can hear Jens have a Benedict Cumberbatch Penguins moment. A link to Benedict Cumberbatch Penguins moment is here. The images we walk about in this episode can be found on the website.

Our desk setups
In this episode we take a tour of the desks and what's on them. These are our workspaces, where we spend so much time every day. The are also very different, and it shows what we value and feel comfortable working with. Jens is sitting on a chair almost as old as Martin and certainly out of warranty :) Martin's man cave holds a lot of stuff, which Michael point's out. There is also a short introduction of the long tail of what happened when Michael ordered his future monitor at Apple and the arguments he made up for him self, in order to convince him self why he should spend way too much money on a monitor. And keyboards...

Interview with David Allen the father of Getting Things Done
If you could ask David Allen anything about GTD for an hour, what would you ask him? We were up for the challenge and tried to find topics and questions, that David don't usually gets, so no explanation of the five steps of GTD.  As usual we start the episode by talking about what happened since last time we recorded an episodes. What are the big and small tech projects that we are working on. We started the conversation with David asking about the about the origin of GTD and how the five steps and the six horizons of focus came to life. And thankfully David delivered as usual and gave us a great GTD history overview. We did cover other topics like GTD communities, the two GTD Summits and GTD used in different cultures and by different kinds of people.  Throughout the interview David gave us new insights on some of the subtle parts of GTD and told some of the GTD stories that we never or very seldom have heard. Thank you again David for joining our podcast. - You can find more about Getting Things Done at https://gettingthingsdone.com/ - You can follow David at Twitter (@gtdguy) and at Instagram (@dallen45) - You can also follow our podcast on Twitter @smartere.tech
