Love this podcast - loved in particular the episodes with Chidera Eggerue, Sherilyn Ifill, and Richie Reseda, as well as the “too much” episode. Actually getting large doses of knowledge and food for thought.

This podcast should be required listening to every HS student in the USA. Required. I really needed some inspiration and after reading about Ritchie in Ijeoma Oluo’s new book and hearing him talk about him on her book tour, I was so glad to hear your conversation. I appreciate you Amanda.

Amanda and her guests speak the truth in a very digestible way. This podcast uses common vernacular, current phrases and defines words for concepts that oppressive systems try to uphold and hide under vague language. Not only that, she teaches us how to dismantle these systems. I have been listening for years and will continue.

Listening to Episode 308 on my way back from Mass and it truly is A Message. I also just listened to Mr. Franklin’s episode 303 AND WHEEW my black Catholic heart is ready💙 Mr. Franklin hit the nail on the head. Trust me, I had a decade of deconstructing, to put the heavy weight of the religion I carry and looking back I honestly thought the faith wasn’t for me but I’ve found God is more than the discrepancies of being human and I hear the call to show that there is love, even here in the church of the unloveable. It’s a really good podcast. That’s for the people who might not want to read a long post lol. In the “podcast space” a lot of people tend to start podcasts for the simple goal of being heard and maybe making money. This doesn’t seem like those. It’s really informative yet remains lively (imagine Amanda not keeping the energy up lol), and she brings on great guests. Many of the guests I already knew, but it doesn’t seem like she’s bringing on people because of their popularity. She clearly brings them on because of the value they bring to her and her audience.

I followed Amanda from Insecure, and followed Issa from YouTube. I’m a fan of Amanda’s comedy. She lost me a bit during the pandemic with a focus on astrology and mysticism. Anyway, I’m back. I work from home and love podcasts. I’m proud of Amanda. She’s grown as a host and interviewer. It’s inspiring. Keep up the great work and content!

I’ve been listening since the beginning. Amanda will school you on things you thought you knew everything about. Be open and optimistic to learn. She comes with her opinion and the facts to match! I didn’t know how much I rocked with Amanda until I found Small Doses. I usually listen while I work out. The podcasts are informative, sometimes serious, usually goofy, and hella relatable.

This helps provide a base level understanding of who Marianne is any why she deserves to be considered for the 2024 presidential election. Amanda’s interviewing tenacious style gives Marianne a chance to provide sounds solutions to issues she speaks loudly against. In this interview you will witness the humanity behind Marianne’s political views. Job well done! Amanda may’ve bought herself the opportunity to be Marianne’s communications director. This show is so thoughtful-provoking, hilarious and my favorite, unapologetically black. Amanda is just such a beautiful and blessed soul. I love her, love the guests she brings on and the types of questions and interviews she leads. She can get deep one minute and be talking about poop and laughing the next.

I’m a fan. She makes sense and focuses on the meat of the issue (often some foolishness) & holds feet to the fire while also bringing the levity. An excellent conversationalist. Have been following her career for a while & started giving the full episodes a whirl. Not disappointed! She had my fave on (Durand Bernarr) & I had to g’on head & leave a review!

I really enjoyed the conversation with Tabitha Brown. I love how honest and authentic you both were in this episode. Two of my favorite creators together was such an amazing listen!

My favorite episode so far has been Yamaneika Saunders. I’m listening to the Mean Girls episode now and I think that your explanation was dope and should apply to people who have been labeling all men who don’t reciprocate the same feelings, actions etc as narcissists. We have been over using the word. Just as there is a difference between girls who aren’t your tribe and men girls, their is a difference between men who don’t want you or want you like you want them and narcissists.

I saw a clip on IG with TS Madison that made me come and download this podcast! The part 2 of the living out loud episode was so good. I recently started therapy and everything Amanda said to TS Madison about why go to therapy was spot on. I am looking forward to listening to some of the older episodes too. Really enjoy the podcast. From the topics to the guests!

This podcast gives soooo much free game and education for people. Amanda is a wealth of knowledge who is able to effectively speak about sometimes hard to digest topics. I really appreciate her eloquence, her sense of humor, and her commitment to vocalizing TRUTH. I listen to this podcast on the regular and even went to her show in San Francisco when she came to my hometown which was outstanding. Shes even better in person. Shoutout to Amanda Seales man we need people listening to more voices like hers!

This is the first time I’ve listened to an episode of Small Doses and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. I really feel like I was privy to a private conversation between Amanda and Kandi. I liked hearing from Kandi in a way that felt unfiltered and true to who she is as opposed to the RHOA filter. I learned a lot about her through the conversation that I found interesting.

The fact that todays episode goes hand in hand with not just my life and everyone else’s but I literally had to deal with my partners mother and everything you said about the mothers and sons vs daughters it’s just dead on how she still passed down that trauma and seems everyone is blind to it all this just opened my eyes more and I appreciate all your truths and wisdom and humor your the best

I used to really love this podcast but as of lately it hasn’t been the same. I wish she would focus on more fun/light hearted topics sometimes.. the political/socially conscious topics, while extremely important, just feel like overkill now. I’m fatigued from these conversations on every other media outlet. It was nice when this podcast was an escape from that.

I rarely listen to podcasts. I was on the plane, Delta 🤣 none the less, and saw Amanda had a podcast. Well, the plane WiIfi wouldn’t connect so I couldn’t listen. Today I had a lengthy subway ride, so I searched and listened, and loved! Just hearing how you are helping pay for school is so awesome. You are using blessings to provide blessings. I really was engaged to the whole episode. I went to Egypt in 2019 and was totally relating to seeing animals where in America we normally wouldn’t. I seen a man being pulled by a donkey on a cart on the highway. And going to the Pyramids, being in the desert was awe-inspiring. I stayed in Cairo and regret not taking the train to Alexandria to se the sea! But, it is also the same having to go through metal detectors to get in some cafes, the mall, the hotel, which even had an X-ray machine like the airport. And the traffic was just horrible, but everything was cheap in Egypt. I also felt a peace over my spirit that brought calmness that I never experienced as an adult. It was either because I was so far away, or because I was in the Motherland. It was truly the best trip I’ve taken so far. I want to go to Kenya, and listening to your podcast episode makes me want to even more. I look forward to listening to more episodes, and thank you Amanda for being you! The way you tell a story is truly engaging, and you have a knack! And you are also a wonderful humanitarian. I love your IG!
