Pamela talks about hers, her students and fellow teachers experiences during this crisis. Our Teachers are Key Workers and have come in for some criticism during this crisis. Hear how much our teachers have been affected. On behalf of Global Acts of Unity, I want to thank one and all of our teachers and education staff for their great commitment to their students and education.

Welcome to the ‘Small Acts Big Changes’ podcast series. My name is Mike Haines and I am the founder of Global Acts of Unity. This special episode is for Hate Crime Awareness Week, exploring the mental and emotional impact of hate crime and the importance of not letting hate win. In this episode, I speak to Exit UK founder Nigel Bromage. Nigel lost 20 years of his life to the far-right before turning his back on extremism and hate. Manipulated and radicalised as a teenager, he spent decades in organisations such as the National Front, British Movement and other extremist groups. Nigel now uses his experience to help stop others from getting drawn into far-right narratives and support those looking for a way out.
