As a school SLP with little work/life balance, I often view speech related podcasts as literally the last thing I want to listen to when I’m not at work. SLPs Wine and Cheese has changed that mindset though. Thanks for making a podcast that’s fun, down to earth, and yet still informative. It feels like I’m drinking wine with a couple of speech pals who just get it. Thank you!

I enjoy listening to Deb and Maria talk about life and speech. Deb also helped me learn about buy nothing groups and joining mine has been the best thing ever so thanks so much for that!

This podcast is very informational and easy to follow along with! Deb & Maria give legitimate reviews on their wine & cheese pairings, as well as insightful information for work. The most recent podcast, “Nailing It” had some nice encouragement and reminders to stand up for your passions in the workplace. I also loved the buzzfeed quiz part because I get sucked into taking those things! And now I will actually consider what those quiz results say about me! 😜

I love listening to the podcast during my workouts, so for me it’s “SLPs Wine-Cheese-Elliptical”. The interviews with guests have added new perspectives, but I always love hearing about your activities, therapy ideas, and perspectives on your professional lives. This is a really enjoyable podcast with lots of practical insights. I stand my my original comments from January: Really informative guests, the wine and cheese adds to the chill vibe.

I listen to this podcast during my daily commute to work (as an SLP) and it always gears me up.

Love listening in the morning on my way to work or on my way home. I love the tips and tricks portion but the discussion on what wine they are drinking and the descriptions are my favorite. I enjoy the wide variety of topics that are discussed across the episodes. Whether you work with kids or adults, I think they provide a variety of information that you can use no matter the setting. Thank you ladies so much for making my commute to work a little more enjoyable.

I love listening to this podcast! It's very different from other SLP podcasts in that both Deb and Maria are relaxed, it seems mostly unedited, and it feels a bit like you're listening into your SLP friend's conversations.

I started listening about a week ago, and I'm a little sad to be almost caught up! These ladies are smart, funny, and really open about the challenges and joys of being an SLP. I'm picking up some life lessons along the way. Learning about wine & cheese is a fun bonus!
