This podcast is one of my favorites, I love to listen to it in my free time. I would really recommend this podcast to anyone who loves true crime. I found it really interesting due to the fact that it is about European killers, I haven't found any other podcast like this one. I also love the comedy added to the murders, it brightens some semi depressing murders.

If you were a fan of MFM, but hated all the stupid chatter in the first twenty minutes...this is for you. Great chemistry between the two hosts, and it’s all crime talk. It’s simply fab!

I was searching for more true crime podcasts and I must confess, I love a British accent. I was choosing based on voices first. If I’m going to be listening to people talking this much I can’t very well be annoyed by their voice can I? But I wasn’t sure how I felt about comedy being sprinkled into my true crime. Turns out, I love it! These two are hilarious and lovable and it’s obvious how much they enjoy each other and the show. I’ve been binging since I found them. My new favorite obsession.

I’m late to the party, but I stumbled across this podcast last week and I love it. As an avid true crime podcast listener, and a Brit living in the US, this is a exactly what I need to feed my morbid fascination - and not feel too homesick! Funny and well researched, listening to S’laughter makes chores almost delightful.

I listen to 20+ podcasts on the regular. This is the only podcast that I support via Patreon (aka financially). I relate so much to the teacher stories and I actually listen to my bffs Emma and Lucy every night before going to bed. I'm a freak I know. Give these girls a chance. You'll love it.

The ladies make horror much more digestible to those who aren’t quite the blood, guts and gore types. I appreciate the way they bounce off each other (well, that’s another show)or rather they way they get along so well and finish each other’s sentences. I highly recommend giving this a go. I’m bingeing right now. Great fun girls!

Basically the U.K. version of MFM, only funnier and more to the point (no 25 minutes of rambling before getting to the actual content, jokes and tangents are more on point, more concise, and more entertaining). So well done and probably my favourite podcast besides Wine and Crime (tied for 1st). Well-worth subscribing.

I subscribed to this podcast based on the recommendation of another true crime podcast I listen to regularly. Right out of the gate the hosts have to opine on the U.S. election. I don’t listen to true crime podcasts to listen to your political opinions. The “hosts” are more interested in their own snarky repartee than presenting a good podcast. No thank you.

So I'm leaving a review because they don't have very many but I don't have super strong opinions on this one. It's definitely good (hence the 4 stars rating) but I have a weird relationship with this one. I have listened to all of the episodes, listening to Lucy and Emma talk. It's interesting because they are both teachers and bring that into the conversation (and one of them is well versed in psychology). They have very good episodes and most of their slash and dash episodes are very good (just get past the shrillness at the beginning). As mentioned, I have "listened" to all of them but will zone out sometimes during episodes because I'm not super interested or more often than not because they have strong British accents and it takes more for me to pay attention to them than for other podcasts. Overall, recommend!

I'm really enjoying the podcast - funny and interesting! I love the conversational style, and the straightforward opinions (it's lacking the American compulsion for euphemisms; refreshing for this American listener). (re another review: yes, insofar as S'laughter is two women discussing true crime with humor, it is like My Favorite Murder (MFM) (and White Wine, True Crime), but S'laughter is *much* better. How? Unlike MFM, S'laughter explains the crimes, is lacking in insufferably stupid and uninformed opinions, and S'laughter has awesome accents :) So, I think this comparison is unfortunate (and strangely ignores all of the comedy & true crime podcasts hosted by men. Huh, I wonder why? #feminism (callback to episode 2)). I'm a huge fan of crime & humor podcasts, and S'laughter is now in my top fav podcasts -- great job and please keep the good shows coming! I definitely recommend this podcast :) --------- Update: I'm still loving S'laughter and eagerly awaiting each new episode! The Slash and Dash episodes are great for when I don't have the time for a full episode: I still get my S'laughter fix :) I recommend this podcast very highly to anyone who's into true crime with comedy! Try it! It's excellent!

I gave 5 stars despite the fact that my ears ring for hours after these two literally SCREAM “Slash and Dash” in my earphones. Wait for that to pass while muted then sit back and enjoy!

I love this podcast so much! I always wish the episodes were like 3 hours long because I could listen to these ladies talk forever. They sound so professional and I love when they get a bit off topic and chatty every so often. My favorite episodes are the witchy ones, or the ones with plenty of stupid rich men to make fun of. Definitely worth a listen, or let’s be honest, an unhealthy binge that leaves you desperate for each new episode to come out because you have to have your fix!!

I just went through a long, arduous process to get here: 1. I’ve never rated a podcast. 2. I couldn’t figure out how to rate pods on the app I use (starts w/ “over” and ends with “cast.”) 3. I came to Apple Podcasts just to leave a review for S’laughter, because I love it so much but have no dollars for Patreon right now. 4. Are you freaking kidding me? I couldn’t figure out how to leave a review on Apple Podcasts either. 5. I had to Google and then read stuff. 6. I came back here and wrote everything out. THAT is how much I love this podcast. Thank you, Lucy & Emma, for creating great content!

Humor is meant to push boundaries, and when some stuffy virtue-signaling “journalist” asks where the line is... the answer is there is no line, idiot. That’s the whole point. Unlike many other pods in the murder/comedy genre, this one leaves politics to the “more enlightened” and just gives you a straight dose of entertainment instead.

This podcast is so fun. Sure the information they give isn't correct 100% of the time, but that's not really what this podcast is about. It's about two friends sharing a love of true crime and having a laugh along the way. Screw the negative reviews, this podcast is top notch.

Just kidding...but I did already write this and lost it somehow. So, again, these ladies are AWESOME! I have heard just about every true crime podcast and this is the only”crimedy” one that I like. They don’t need murder-themed cocktail discussions as filler. They play off of each other so well...I listen at work and actually lol regularly. The British accents are a bonus. I wish my review could be as good as this podcast...one can dream...

These two ladies are funny and tell great murdery stories!

Lucy and Emma cover many different true crime stories throughout the UK, with the Slash and Dash episodes being somewhere else. The beginning episodes are a little rough with the audio, almost as if they get to far from the microphone and then immediately lean back into it. It’s still a great podcast though. They’re well-informed, have great chemistry together, and the dark humor is fantastic.

Just started listening and I absolutely love it. I’ve just finished binging on True Crime Guys and I love the comedic banter in their show. I didn’t think it would be possible to find a female version, yet here you are, killin it. I will definitely be a loyal listener from this point on. Keep up the great work ladies. 👍🏻👍🏻
