This Podcast Will Be Missed
Thankfully there's a large catalog of back episodes. My favorite moments are 2 stories unrelated to the movie reviews. 1 - Mike and his misfortune on Who wants to be a millionaire. 2 - Ted and the Cookie Monster. Good luck guys.

Tired of jaded horror "fans"
Listened to a podcast and it's so depressing. Dave and Nick are so rude to the other host. Every idea and movie he talks about they shoot down. I wouldn't really call what they do reviews or news seeing as they don't give anything a chance.

White Privilege On Display, But...
I watched "Tales From The Hood" on cable a day or so ago and decided to find podcasts that reviewed it (there are a few) and your show was the worst in understanding the film's racial views. You guys did give it a C+ and that was a fair rating (the film isfar from perfect) but your views of race issues being a thing of the past and how the anger in the film was injustified seemed ridiculous in the wake of the past few years (and really if you guys were paying attention in 2012 when you review the film). Anyway, it would be cool if you guys have learned more about the issues involved and re-reviewed the film.

Great
Been listening from the very beginning. The show is still as great as it always has been. The guys have good all-around discussions of horror. It's a really entertaining show.

Good Show
Funny guys, a good variety of opinions which is always great in a movie podcast. Sometimes they get off track but its usually short and funny. Nick is good for bringing the conversation back. All of the guys are very knowledgable and are good at replying to fan questions and suggestions. If you love horror movies, give these guys a shot.

Solid Horror
One of my favorite podcasts to listen to never miss an episode. Love the different perspectives from all the hosts. Sounds like they are from all different ages and and backgrounds so you get all the angles. Wish they would review more movies that we all can see and not all the freebies they get. Still overall this is a great podcast.

Worth checking out.
This podcast is decent enough. It can get a little slow and overly critical at times but it's worth listening to. The selection of films can be somewhat problematic. For a while they seemed to be watching new horror releases in the theater which got old because the overwhelmingly bad reviews just exhaust you after a while. Recently they have switched over to "staff picks" which is sometimes hardly better because there are inconsequential disagreements over them which leads to an uninspired discussion. They guys are at their absolute best when they are just being off the cuff funny. I've laughed out loud many times throughout their back catalog of shows. Unfortunately those moments are short lived and become a little lost within the news and reviews. The "Dear Slashecast" episodes are funny but just go on way too long.
Basically...it's not as entertaining as Bloody Good Horror, or as informative as Horror Etc. It's a decent enough effort though. There is real potential to be great here. That's ultimately the most frustrating part. If you listen to every episode it becomes obvious that there is an amazing show in here somewhere. It just hasn't fully emerged yet. There are flashes of brilliance hidden within their often dry and drawn out criticism. The episodes could really benefit from a little levity.
Off the top of my head I would recommend the "Sharknado" and "August Underground's Mordum" episodes simply because they immediately come to mind as spirited discussions. Great because they were films that really divided the hosts and got them all to defend their opinions against whichever hosts were opposed. When there is a general consensus over a film the discussion causes the show to really lose steam.

Love it!
This is a great show with alot of insight into horror films and anything related. My favorite parts of the show are when the guys are on the verge of an arguement and sometimes it seems like they don't really like each other. It's fantastic!

Sweet podcast
Highly enjoyable to check out the different opinions of the guys on the show. No one is afraid to speak their mind and no one dances around being raunchy which I love.

Best out there!
So I spent a great deal of time looking and testing horror podcasts. This is by far the best. These guys are passionate about horror and and have great discussions. One of the great things is they may not always agree, but you always get honest well thought out discussions. Give it a shot and you won't be disapointed! Keep em coming guys, thanks for the great show!

Well researched, lots of passion
These guys know what they're talking about. It may take a few episodes to get used to the dynamic of this relatively large cast, but each voice brings a unique perspective. They have interesting insights, current horror news, and update regularly.

Best Horror Podcast Ever!
Been listening since about episode 40 & haven't missed one since. The 5 hosts are all knowledgable & passionate about the genre. If you're a horror fan, Slashercast is a must listen.

Lower Tier Horror Podcast.
I tried to give this podcast a chance based on the star rating by listening 15 older/newer episodes. But ultimately it was a let down. My biggest issue is with the host Jack, he spends most the time make sophomoric cringeworthy jokes that fall flat every single time. It derails the show a lot. Also compared to other popular horror podcast they seem extremely disorganized and don't do any preparation. On to the other members, you can really take or leave Ted and Dave they add some decent insight once in a while but mostly there to talk while eating. Annoying. There are some positives on the podcast like Nick and Mike. Nick has some really great insight on the horror genre and really comes through in the review. And Mike has most passion for the horror genre and it's fun to listening. If they just stuck to just reviewing movies this podcast would be pretty decent. They just need to cut the fat.

I initially started listening to Slashercast so I had something to listen to during my drive to and from school, and over a year later I am still listening! These guys are hilarious, and I love hearing their discussions. They know what they are talking about and aren't pretentious. Slashercast is definitely a must-listen for anyone who is into horror and podcasts. ❤

Negativity and BadMouthing not only each other, but others
The title of my review nearly says it all. When you trash other podcasters by name, it's evident where your heart and mind are at. I avoid people who hate others whether they believe they're justified or not, especially when one of the people you bring up is a kind, generous and stand-up fella.

Must listen for all horror fans!
If you're a horror fan and love to laugh and hear a great variety of opinions this podcast is for you. Great reviews and discussions of all things horror.

I LOVE Slasher Cast
This is bar none my fave podcast ever. The guys know their horror movies and are not afraid to tell you what they think. They also have a separate place for spoilers so if you don't want anything spoiled you can skip that part. I have literally laughed out loud at this podcast and disturbed the sea of cubicles I work in, You have to listen to this podcast...I swear you will LOVE it too!

Must-Listen for horror fans
If you are looking for honest opinions on a wide variety of horror movies, this is the horrro podcast you should be listening to first. The group has a great chemistry and play off each other well. There is no sugar coating going on here, regardless of how "big" or "small" the movie is that happens to be being reviewed, on the flipside when a movie is enjoyed it is rightfully praised. Each co-host bring their unique perspective to the show and has equal say in what is good and what is a bust. If you haven't yet, check out Slashercast NOW!

Bloody funny
Love this one. It's cool to hear a weekly podcast that is as structured as this, and yet manages to keep things fresh. Been listening since episode one, and look forward to downloading a new one every week. Some truly intelligent discussion that never falls into the horror elitist/ pretentiousness that many others do. Theyve inspired me to begin my own horror cast, and i hope to get their feedback one day. Stay brutal.

great horror discussion, laughs and much more
It's a bit self-serving to rate it so high, since I'm one of the guys on this podcast, but honestly, even if I weren't, I would subscribe anyway. It's almost as much fun to listen to as it is to record. We have solid production value, a solid knowledge of the horror genre and a ton of comedy. Check it out. I'm biased, but I know you'll like it
