I finally found out how to meditate meaningfully. This has helped me become closer to God. I recommend this to everyone.

What a beautiful and helpful resource. It really does help me slow down, breathe, and invite the Holy Spirit to come. I love that the episodes are only 10-ish minutes! Completely doable and not overwhelming. I can do it anywhere. Thank you!

For a task-oriented, fast moving, high strung individual…. Holy Spirit is the medicine I need for my spirit. These moments allow me to engage with His presence and his Truth. True worship.

I’ve been using this podcast for a week now and what a gift it has been! My prayer life has been in a funk since I started grad school and this podcast forces me to slow down and listen to Jesus. I have listened to several episodes over and over and over. I would happily purchase these as a collection outside podcast world and listen to them regularly. This podcast extends the invitation to draw near to God once more amidst our busy and hectic lives. It’s a gentle hand extended when we’ve found ourselves drifting away from practicing the presence of God; a reminder to sit still with God and His Word. In the Christian faith tradition I was raised in, guided prayer/lectio divina was never done or taught. I was taught how to pray, but in my recent faith crisis, I felt that I needed to re-learn to pray, and I wanted to start from scratch. Being guided in prayer helped me pray earnestly, and relearn prayer in a way that has helped my private prayer life. As a worship leader, so much of the worship experience is tied to “doing”. Slō is a great reminder that discipleship isn’t always “doing” or “performing” but perhaps more often than not being still and contemplating God.

Just listened to the first podcast and it’s everything I’ve been needing. I’ve really been struggling with slowing down and praying in my quiet time but I can already say this has me back on the right track!!!

This has been immensely helpful in helping me carve out important space to reconnect with God during busy days of running children around and in between daily responsibilities. This is an incredible tool to help you stay connected to the Father’s heart and experience his presence in an attainable and practical way.
