Found you ladies when you co-hosted Children of the Watch recently, and I’ve listened to a few podcasts so far. I really enjoy the show and will continue to tune in. Thanks for the great Star Wars content!

Charlotte and Caitlin deliver an incredibly unique perspective on Star Wars. Their relationship with the fandom has evolved through their relationship with each other and that experience is at the crux of why the show works so well. My favorite aspect of the podcast is hearing about the memories they have in relation to each piece of Star Wars media. Understanding how those circumstances shaped their experience of Star Wars is delightful. I’ve been listening to Star Wars podcasts for well over 10 years now, (and have listened to all the well-known ones), and have recently discovered Skytalkers! I wish I discovered these two amazing women years ago. These two are very intelligent and insightful, and I love their depth of knowledge as well as their female point of view. Looking forward to going back through the years and listening to all the amazing episodes I’ve missed. So glad I found them. They’re the best, I’m blown away truly!

I really do respect the female aspect of this pod, but I just find it to be a little rocky and not as informative or interesting as other pods.

They really stand up for the woman community in Star Wars and I really like that good on them for really doing that big achievement!!!!

I found this show when I was looking to hear more about Andor Season 2. I have been listening to your current content and back catalog episodes ever since. Wow!! Charlotte and Caitlin are doing such an amazing job of thinking deeply about Star Wars, making connections, and always showing me more things to love about Star Wars stories. Tv, books, and movies. I’ve been looking for a Star Wars podcast for far too long in a galaxy far far away. For background, I grew up watching the OG trilogy but when the prequels came out in theaters, a Star Wars nerd was born. I remember watching Attack of the Clones and I asked my dad “where are all the girl Jedi” and he replied “there are some in the background”. I grew up craving a strong female Jedi. Thankfully Dave Filoni blessed us with Ahsoka Tano. But while searching for a Star Wars podcast I was once again met with “where are all the girls at”. A Star Wars baddie, looking for other Star Wars baddies, if you will. Thankfully I came across this podcast.

Found this show after watching Andor and needing to hear others discuss it. There are so many options - and I listened to most of them. Found this to be my favorite. Well done. Thanks

I had to step away from this podcast and when I came back…wow. They really have grown much stronger and more sure of themselves making the listen enjoyable while others in their timeline have regressed and not matured as they’ve gotten older and fed into drama-culture.

Came here looking for supreme Star Wars nerd content. Was disappointed.

I found my way to this podcast because I am so hungry for Andor content. I have a few favorite SW podcasts but this is going to get in the rotation for sure.

STAR WARS!!!! can you maybe make more clone wars rewatch episodes? Great podcast, I like Ashoka too. I don’t know what people’s problem is with her. By the way I also like Shaak Ti, can you make an episode on her? I personally(because of this one comic) Shaak Ti survived.(this part not directed at podcast hosts)I know what your thinking “ the clone wars confirmed Darth Vader killing her” That was a vision. Maybe it wasn’t literal. Or if you play force unleashed “she was eaten by the sarlaac pit” well, that is not cannon. Plus that does not even look like the same Shaak Ti from the movie and if your one of those Shaak Ti haters or blame her for essentially training the clones to kill the Jedi Order. Well I’m entitled to my own opinion and you’re entitled to yours and my opinion is Shaak Ti is great P.S(directed at podcast hosts) what was your first Star Wars movie

This podcast is just great! The host do a great job of researching the topics. They explore not only Star Wars but the people and things that have made Star Wars. This is a podcast all Star Wars fan should be listening too. It’s so informative and entertaining. I thought I knew a lot about Star Wars but this show is constantly teaching me something new!

Skytalkers is my go-to Star Wars podcast. As a female fan of Star Wars, I’ve found this podcast quite insightful, and a great representation of the female perspective in the fandom. I love their in-depth analysis of not only the movies, live action tv, and animation of Star Wars but also on occasion books, articles, and comics. I appreciate their mix of critical analysis, fun, humor, theories, positivity and overall SW knowledge. Some of my favorite episodes are when they choose a theme and look at Star Wars through that lens. I also appreciate their interviews with creators and love their Star Wars dinner party question at each interview/special guest episode. Their love for Star Wars is contagious and I adore the evident friendship between both Podcast hosts. Highly recommend a listen! 👍👍

So glad that I started to listen to them after their apparence on Star Wars Explained. Their opinions and reviews are grounded and click bait. Really enjoyed listening after the Acolyte episodes all season.

The smartest and most thoughtful SW podcast around. After Acolyte episode 6, there was one podcast I wanted to hear from. Always worth a listen, even when I disagree.

Skytalkers is my favorite Star Wars podcast. Charlotte and Caitlin are a joy to listen to. The audio and editing are top-notch, with excellent transitions and music. It’s a high quality production, while maintaining a conversational tone between two best friends since middle school, who bonded over Star Wars. Their discussions are well-organized into a three-part format and go deep into literary analysis. They attend Celebration, D23 and Dragon Con. Visited Galaxy’s Edge and S(tar Wars)weekends. Interview awesome guests. Talk about news. Analyze new trailers. Speculate about what’s to come. Discuss the books. They have a Rebels series called Fulcrum Files, a Resistance series and themed summer series. I always feel like I’m right there having my kind of discussion with two people who know their stuff and have done their research. But we’re always having fun and I laugh right along with them. They’ve also made me put much thought into who to invite to a Star Wars dinner party. I know John Williams, Dave Filoni and David Collins are must-haves. There are too many amazing choices for the last two spots. Charlotte and Caitlin may say to look to the animation department for the future of Star Wars, but I say to look to the animation department and listen to Skytalkers for the future of Star Wars.

Skytalkers have a knack for making their listening audience feel like they are experiencing their Star Wars fan journey right alongside them. Very thoughtful insights.

I love listening to skytalkers, the analysis is always informative and thought provoking. and insight is top notch. And of course I love hearing the laughter, you can really hear the hosts friendship and it makes the show amazing. It is also my go to for news and cast interviews, and of course Star Wars celebration info, badge check!

The host(s) continues to discuss a Disney-owned franchise (and presumably still pays for the Disney+) without acknowledging Disney’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people.

I am really enjoying this show. They are thoughtful and their analysis is somehow fresh even when speaking about material that has been spoken about by many others before them. Great job. I listened to many if the Star Wars podcasts on other shows as they broke down Ahsoka, but somehow the conversation here brings about new points and connections that I have not heard yet. I am enjoying your thoughts thoroughly!

If you’re looking for a unique approach on different aspects of the Star Wars franchise, Skytalkers is the way to go. Lots fun in depth discussions & conversations on themes and fun facts. Also promoting positivity in the Star Wars fandom and making the others feel welcome in the Star Wars fandom. If you’re looking for lots of great Star Wars content, Skytalkers is the way to go and Charlotte and Caitlin are a joy.

So, I first saw SW in the theatre the week it opened in 1977 when I was in 3rd grade. I have been a fan ever since but almost exclusively in the films. I have not followed the animated series and read very few books. That said, I am now dipping my toes into those additions to the SW universe. (Andor is absolutely brilliant!) Skytalkers is the deep dive into SW that I have been looking for. I appreciate the insight and analysis. It is well thought out, balanced and done very well. Now my only complaint. Discussing the reshoots takes away from the storytelling of the movie itself. I realize that this is the current nature of film/television art because of so much content on each project made available. I also know that reshoots is part of the film making process. Given the change of narratives caused by some reshoots I feel like I would rather not know. The artists reshoot for the purpose of presenting the project as they wanted. The film/show on screen is the final product of the art and that’s what I want to stay with. That said, I love this podcast and have supported the Patreon. I look forward to plowing through all the episodes. Keep it up! MTFBWY !

It took a while to find the right Star Wars podcast for me but Skytalkers is just the right combination of fun mixed with deep, insightful conversation on the films, series and beyond.

i didn’t hop on the skytalkers bandwagon for a long time…but i should have! charlotte and caitlin always provide intriguing and nuanced conversation, and are an important source of positivity in the star wars fandom with each episode they produce. i don’t always agree with their opinions, but they provide great reasoning behind them, so that even if you don’t agree, you can understand where they’re coming from, which is awesome! i love all the episodes, but especially the three part deep dives. there’s something for everyone!

I agree with most reviewer‘s regarding the enthusiasm. I do think there is some rambling, for instance, how many utterances of the word “episode“ within an episode : it’s literally dozens of repetition of the same word. Once you hear it, you cannot unhear it, and it is slightly off-putting. I still tune in each week though.

Skytalkers is my favorite Star Wars-related podcast and totally has to be one of the best. Charlotte and Caitlin are so smart, thoughtful, and fun. Their breakdowns of new episodes of Star Wars shows and the like are thorough without being cynical or too dogmatic. Also, they have great voices! Their vocal tones are warm and cheery in a really welcoming way. Their chemistry adds a lot and listening to them is kinda like hanging out with friends. Great stuff!

I got into this podcast while watching Andor. None of my close circle was as in to it as I was, and it was so nice to have a "conversation" with Caitlin and Charlotte after each episode. They are fun and have good things to say! Also love their predictions. I think even after this Andor season comes to a close I will keep listening!

The default position of too many Star Wars fans is negativity. Not Charlotte and Caitlin. Their enthusiasm and appreciation of Star Wars, especially all the new content, is infectious. I feel like I am hanging out with friends as I listen to their critical and heartfelt reactions. I find myself waiting for new Star Wars episodes to finish just so I can hear the Skytalker’s analysis. I especially appreciate their female perspectives in a male-dominated fan base. Charlotte is the absolute best! A must listen for everyone

These two are so good and insightful in their commentary. Their podcast on the last episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi was a masterpiece.

I was really happy to find this podcast. In the sea of Star Wars podcasts hosted by men it was refreshing to find one hosted by women. There are more out there but not many. When I found Skytalkers I began following because I wanted to support them and haven’t been disappointed. Their episodes are thoughtful, well-researched, and articulate. Now I have to admit I don’t see eye-to-eye with them on everything, which is fine. I welcome differing opinions because they make the conversation interesting. Besides, where else are you going to find a discussion about the opening crawls? The opening crawls! Their enthusiasm and love for everything Star Wars is delightful. These ladies know their Star Wars.

Skytalkers is the Star Wars podcast of my dreams. Caitlin and Charlotte’s discussions are thoughtful yet filled with a real love of the franchise. I love listening to their takes on basically anything and everything Star Wars whether it’s the High Republic books, in-depth analysis of characters, or weekly discussions of new Star Wars TV episodes. Absolutely recommend for all Star Wars fans!
