This is Amazing - Please do more
I just got done binge listening to all the elk stories while making our annual 30 hour trip to Idaho on our elk hunt. These are fantastic! So entertaining and engaging. I truly hope there are more to come. If you were as good at marketing as you are at writing/film making, there wouldn’t be an outdoorsman or elk hunter who wouldn’t know Bryan Huskey.

The Man
I have known Bryan for the better part of 30 years. This podcast shows the growth he has had in life, hunting and his story telling ability. He speaks to me more now as the Marty Stouffer of my childhood then the long time friend. His ability to transport the listener to the place and time of the hunt is second to none and truly harkens back to the lost art of story telling.

Takes me back....
As a kid, I used to wake up early on Saturday mornings to watch Flip Pallot’s Walkers Cay Chronicles on ESPN. Bryan’s story telling has always reminded me of Flip’s narration in those episodes. The perfectly placed analogies comparing hunting to life draws the listener into the story even though he or she may not hunt big game. Well done Bryan, keep it up!

Superior storytelling
If you enjoy the woods, regardless if you hunt, you’ll enjoy the adventure aspect of all of these stories. The story’s told here are escapism at its finest and can transport you to the most rugged uninhabited places in the lower 48 and place you amongst some of the most wild critters we share the woods with. Storytelling at its finest

Like having another hunting buddy
Absolutely love the description of the inner monologue during the hunt and blood trailing. Any archery hunter with some success of any kind , knows the heart pounding highs and lows of the process. Great podcasts.

Riveting narration
I really enjoy the shorter format than other outdoor shows but need to only listen to this podcast while on break or off work - I find myself lost in the narration and visualizing the scene myself which is great for morale but bad for production! “Belly of the Beast” was particularly gripping as the weather has turned today - the start of rifle season - and I’m stuck in the office warm while I’d rather be up on a ridge with the wind whipping my face and testing my resolve to stay in the face of the gathering storm.
