Great depth but holy smokes so negative now

They clearly love the source material and they have valid criticisms of the new chapters. However, they also look for every single little thing to complain about. It goes from legitimate concern to speaking about what miura would have hypothetically done. They rip on things that the average fan wouldn’t even think about. They’ll even say, this is no longer berserk. It just comes across as bitter.

This podcast about berserk is just as meticulously detailed and admiring of the work of Berserk as Miura was in creating his masterpiece which paid homage to so many other artists and so many other works. If you don’t understand why Miura’s passing was so devastating and why the handling of Berserk today by Mori and the staff at Studio Gaga is such a disappointment then sadly you were never truly connected to what made Berserk so great in the first place. In a way, I actually envy you for that. For the rest of us or at least for me this Podcast continues to carry a torch for those who Berserk connected with in its many depths and many layers that went deeper than the surface, Berserk had a soul and unfortunately not even the essence of that soul exists in todays depiction. This group of Podcasters helped me to understand even more the immense amount of work that one man put into something he loved which is carried on in every episode as they take the time to review and admire a great work they all still clearly love to read and to discuss and if they, like me, continue to return for nothing else but to admire and review and share the work of this once in a lifetime artist, they have my support. Continue please to dissect and interpret where the work was going and what sets it apart from what we are getting today.

Every single one of these post mirua eps is so highly negative. It’s one thing to be critical it’s another to just trash the work completely. What’s the point in even continuing your podcast if you’re not gonna buy volume 42 and support their work. I can’t listen to this anymore and support you if you won’t even support the work your whole podcast is about.

So I’m new to Berserk and was looking for a podcast to listen as I’m reading the volumes for the first time. The episodes that focus on single volumes are great for this purpose but one of the host has a habit of dropping spoilers as he provides his comments. It only happens a few times each episode. Unfortunately it kind of ruins a new readers experience of meshing the manga with the awesome podcast analysis for each volume.

They are complaining about the manga not being the same knowing Muira is dead. They look too deep into the chapters and complain for an hour. It’s truly sad because the team are trying there best and they are just pushing them into the ground knowing they could not even stand a chance trying to do the work they do.

Comes off snobby, entitled and unappreciative. I can’t believe you made an entire episode complaining about Berserk being back. Find something else to read.

but aazealh is unbearable

The detail, subject knowledge, passion and love that drive each episode of this fantastic podcast is incredible. Inspiring

Whatever dumb, granular opinions people may have about this podcast are moot. Anyone here needs to be happy and grateful something like this even exists in the first place.

Definitely a good listen if you love berserk. However, it’s unfortunate the loudest and most heard opinions are those of Aezeahl. There isn’t much differing opinions either, usually they just agree with each other in round about ways.

The only annoying thing is Aazealh and his favorite frase “you know” Easley sais it 100 times in each episode

I can’t believe my ears. I’ve been a long suffering fan of Berserk for over 20 years and nearly brought to tears just listening to this people who love the series as much as I do. It’s amazing to find this as fan of Berserk with not to being able to discuss this amazing story in depth I’ll be listening to this from now on and forever until it’s end Please continue churning these podcasts out!!! This is the first review I’ve ever written for anything ever because of home much this series means to me! Cheers

Walter, Griffith and Aazealh. 3 people that have dedicated years of their lives providing a place to discuss, express and enjoy Kentarou Miura’s work on Berserk. Not only in a fashion that invites a friendly community but also accurately. The chemistry of these 3 and the years dedicated shines through each episode. With amazing guest appearances from some of the contributors of the forum and fellow fans, you can expect an interesting and even enlightening moments during conversations. If you are a fan of the manga? You are in for a treat.

It's refreshing to hear such an in-depth approach to the world of Berserk! I'm so glad this Podcast exists!
