I listen to a ton of beauty related podcasts and what drew me to this one was the background of the host, Dr. Ekta. She brings her unique background to the latest in beauty. Further, the mix of guests she has feels more intentional (i.e., it’s not just any founder launching a new brand or product) - it’s often pathbreaking and/or highly successful or unique brands/founders/professionals. Wishing Dr. Ekta all the best on this podcast - I hope it continues to grow because it is very well deserved!

I consume a lot of short form beauty content in my free time, I love taking care of myself in terms of makeup and skincare. This podcast is so great for someone like me who enjoys doing all these things, and wants to use products that I can specifically tell you WHY I use them and WHAT their benefits are. This show has helped me immensely in being more particular and selective in what I use on my skin. I feel like I have learned so much.

Best part of this pod is the guests. I give Ekta and/or producer a lot of credit for getting terrific guests. I skip the obnoxious fake applause that open each episode and Ekta imho is not even close to a host I can tolerate so episodes do stack up until I can stand listening to her but that’s maybe a matter of taste. Hard to recommend bc of hosting deficits but great guests.

The stem cell episode is the first I’ve listened to. Very informative- I loved it. A piece of constructive criticism: I suggest listening back to at least part of the episode before you release it. You repeat the phrase “you know” quite repetitively (similar to “um”). Other than that, great content and I look forward to future releases.

The content breaks down the science of the products making educating my clients easier. I love being able to share this podcast with coworkers and clients alike. It’s so important to cut through all of the useless information and zero in on products that actually work and know why and how they work! I’m always eagerly looking forward to not just episodes in this Masterclass series, but all of the SA episodes!

One of my favorite podcasts! Dr. Ekta strikes a perfect balance between sharing a wealth of information while making it easy to understand and relatable for a non-science listener. It's the perfect destination for deep dives on beauty ingredients, products and techniques that directly apply to day-to-day life. This podcast is entertaining and very helpful. I love listening to it and learning from all the guests that come on.

I loved the interview from Tuesday, it hit home with me. As a black founder I struggled with should I be the face of my brand? I didn’t want people to put me in a box of being black owned brand and assumed my skincare products only work for people color. I overcame it and decided that it was best for me to show the face behind the brand. Keep up these podcast.

Ekta approaches her interviews with knowledge and a medical background, which makes her interviews far more insightful and interesting, while her variety of guests (from CEOs and Makeup artists turned enterpreneurs to fellow doctors) shed light on great topics and brands. A fantastic listen!

I honestly came across Skincare Anarchy from a friend’s recommendation, however, I am now beyond addicted. This podcast has taught me everything I need to know about skincare and more. No joke, Ekta does an amazing job and explaining the big concepts each brand introduces while also somehow luring me in to buy each and every product mentioned to try it out for myself. This podcast is truly inclusive to any and all and has inspired me to actually put in time and effort towards my skincare routine. Listen! It won’t disappoint!!

Great information and content but audio quality is not good. It’s at times choppy and cuts out.

Ekta and Farheen are so authentic and articulate. They bring such different perspectives to interviews - Ekta (from the doctor and science) and Farheen (from the lawyer/science/regulatory). These women talk about their love of products and skepticism of some of the practices in the industry.
