Joseph Carletta is a adept at comparing similarities between rock and roll lyrics and Buddhist philosophy. As a long time practicing Buddhist and even longer time fan of rock and roll, I find his podcasts so thought provoking that I look forward to each new episode enthusiastically. I think you will as well!

I’ve been trying to find a new podcast,and am just really bored w/true crime or hysterical political commentary. A friend mentioned that I should check out Six String Buddha,so I did...and wow! I was blown away by the insight and obvious depth of knowledge,it’s really on a different level than your average podcast offering. I also really like the tie-in between music and Buddhism,which makes the listening “deep”,but absolutely not a sermon or impenetrable in any way. Anyway,it’s a treat,look foward to getting in a little deeper w/more episodes!
