October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and on today’s episode, I have the privilege of talking to Angela Douglas, a two-time breast cancer thriver. During our conversation, Angela shared what it was like each time she was told of her diagnosis, how she and her family walked through her healing journey, and of God’s faithfulness as she is once again cancer free!
Conversation Highlights
- Depending on God is how she was able to make it through each diagnosis.
- It’s okay for cancer warriors to ask for help.
- Don’t treat breast cancer warriors as though they are contagious!
- Be careful what you say to those who are in the fight for their life.
- We need to show up and be a blessing to breast cancer warriors.
- Breast cancer warriors need intentional sisterhood.
